How is an article that clarified that the India drug regulation agency will require clinical trials before Afrezza can be reviewed for sales in India should be considered FUD? Please explain?

Nicely done! Way to start off the new year! Are you suggesting that if someone uses the words "fear", "uncertainty", or "doubt" then they are automatically a bad person who is trying to hurt mnkd and drive down the stock price? Or are you suggesting that we should only post positive viewpoints? Please say something positive about the India situation.

Google fails to provide any independent confirmation of that claim. Oddly enough, google did provide this: www.hindustantimes.com/health-and-fitness/coming-this-month-insulin-inhaler/story-usQCAqTXO7skjxfYWzjJQN.html"Exubera, the world’s only inhaled insulin diabetes treatment, has got Drug-Controller General of India approval and will hit the market later this month. Manufactuerd by Pfizer, an inhaling device and a month’s supply of the drug is expected to cost about Rs 6,000. Standard injectable insulin therapy costs between Rs 800 and Rs 1,200 a month, depending on the medicines used. The fast-acting powdered insulin formulation has to be inhaled through the mouth before meals with a hand-held device. The DCGI has approved its use by people with insulin-dependent type-1 and type-2 diabetes." It appears exubera got approved without having to go through any trial.

There is no filing on the Indian clinical trials site though so that is not a formal approval.

Are you saying that a protocol approval is only acknowledged by a filing?

I don’t object to you re-starting a thread on Afrezza marketing by Cipla in India with an article from April of last year. I found uvula’s comments spot on for the kinds of observations uvula likes to make. In this case, uvula even used the word “fear”. I can’t be certain, but I doubt he actually felt that emotion.

Prcgorman2: "I found uvula's comment spot on". Thank you
(I actually have been mostly negative lately so my new years resolution is to spend less time here and to not post anything unless it adds value. We all have too much negativity in our lives.)

Thank you (I actually have been mostly negative lately so my new years resolution is to spend less time here and to not post anything unless it adds value. We all have too much negativity in our lives.) Why thank me for a phrase taken out of context? In retrospect I could have more clearly stated, “My opinion is uvula often looks for ways to bash using Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD)”.

Are you saying that a protocol approval is only acknowledged by a filing? A protocol approval is required for the filing. Until there is a filing the SEC can change their mind. Realistically that is unlikely to happen, my query is more around why there isn't a filing if the protocol is agreed. Once the protocol is approved I am not sure there is a good reason not to file since the filing can be amended later if necessary (adding extra clinics for example). My suspicion since there is no filing is that there have been informal conversations, but nothing definite.
