From recent RBC report: www.wkrb13.com/markets/355739/mannkind-given-new-13-00-price-target-at-rbc-capital-mnkd/MannKind (NASDAQ:MNKD) opened at 7.47 on Tuesday. MannKind has a 1-year low of $3.80 and a 1-year high of $11.48. The stock has a 50-day moving average of $9.25 and a 200-day moving average of $7.46. The company’s market cap is $2.823 billion. MannKind also was the recipient of some unusual options trading activity on Monday. Investors purchased 62,634 call options on the stock. This is an increase of approximately 334% compared to the typical daily volume of 14,416 call options. These call options can be used to cover short positions and replacement shares are then not purchased on open market? Doesn't this bypass the squeeze potential? Seems very rigged if true.
