The 4/8 is a titration package. Makes perfect sense to me to start new Afrezza users out on a titration pack. Would you not agree?

To neil's post, the questions still remain: how long will this first shipment last, when will they reorder and how large will that order be? Is it fair to expect some transparency from MC on these questions at our CC? I'm not sure it is fair to expect MC to know any of this (*). I imagine he is waiting to hear about Biomm's experience with selling Afrezza, just as we are. (*) Unless, of course, Biomm sells out and reorders before the CC. In which case, MC will probably mention it a dozen times.

If sales have started, I'm sure they'll have a good indicator in the next few days. The problem is ... if the next container is also totally Afrezza ... then will it still be scrutinized at the dock like the first shipment? If the Brazilians love Afrezza, then I can see multiple containers being shipped on the same vessel. BTW, who is in charge of watching the containers going out the door?
But, that's mytakeonit

Nothing unfair about having that expectation, but history would seem to indicate you'll be disappointed if you have that expectation. To be fair, if I were in their situation I certainly wouldn't be speculating about what another company will choose to do with regard to ordering. But MNKD tends to not be transparent even in things that they control.

Agreed ktim, having such an expectation will probably lead to disappointment. And to your second sentence above, I actually don't want MC to speculate because based on past performance it will likely be an overly inflated speculation (recall his speculation on the script impact of TV ads). What i'd want is real numbers, a la how fast they were selling through the first order. I'd expect BIOMM to be somewhat communicative with MNKD on that, but I don't know if that's true or if they just say one day "we'd like some more now."

It will be quite telling if they have better luck selling Afrezza in Brazil than in the U.S.

In the real world ... people who deal with sales watch their inventory very closely. And in this case where it takes a while for the shipment to arrive, you keep an emergency supply on hand.
But, that's mytakeonit

I don't see anywhere that Biomm is offering a discount coupon. I assume it would be the same outcome as here in the USA as with anything else that people can't afford. You're chit out of luck unfortunately if there's no discount but I don't think it's wise to assume there isn't or won't be one. Why don't you email Biomm and ask them?

AND, you have to deal with shipping schedules. I haven't checked but I doubt that they have a sailing every day. But, I could be Wong.

I find your posts very entertaining and I like your positivity.. however, I would like you to add some substance to your posts beyond the usual. Exactly why do you remain so positive...? Cuz I don't see it. .. No disrespect intended.. I really want to know!!!

Positivity on shipping to Brazil? As I mentioned before, I was an accountant and purchaser who dealt with shipping from California to Hawaii primarily. It's not like shipping to Brazil, but the difference is primarily time on water and going thru customs in a foreign land. My main positive factor is what Mike C has said in previous CCs. The direction is good with fabulous sales ideas. We aren't where we want to be in the U.S., but these international sales sounds like they are being greeted with excited new customers. When we speak of international sales ... how many new customers/ports will we find? Difficult not being excited about it all. (I just checked and it takes a container from Oakland to Santos 38 days to get there.)
Acquiring new partnerships seems to be a given with every new destination. Mike C said that he's not worried about funding. I can understand where he's coming from ... especially with UTHR and additional shares going to Black Rock. We are growing and headed in the right direction.
Current pps is $1.45 so reaching a double at less than $3 is definitely reachable. At this low pps, I am and have loaded up a lot. When revenues start flowing ... so will the pps. Will we reach a 100x multiple? That's less than the $200 pps that I predicted. So for me, I find it hard to not get excited.
