I still don't understand what the company plans on doing with the "rebranding." Where will they use it? In ads? Presumably eventually they switch everything with the logo such as Afrezza boxes to just say Mannkind in pink. I actually prefer the "DNA" man logo. Will mnkd.probaords.com participate in the new rebranding? I still see the DNA man in my browser tab. Perhaps moderators are boycotting the rebranding? I guess they'll have to come up with some version for things like tabs... perhaps just a pink capital M. I'll miss you DNA mann Pardon my ignorance, what is "DNA mann"?

We could permeate the future with negativity...or, we could permeate the future with positivity.
Your choice how you want the future to unfold.

I know, I know, it doesn't mean I'm short if I scream and yell about what a horrible company it is on every media platform.😎 The catalyst will be when the shorts buy quickly.

Sounds like the message of 'The Secret'. Counterpoint (from Barbara Ehrenreich): This attitude promotes complacency and a failure to engage with reality.

We could permeate the future with negativity...or, we could permeate the future with positivity. Your choice how you want the future to unfold. Are you going to get on board and rebrand your avatar... or negatively hold out? Personally, I think I might get proactive about the future I want to see and start a petition to save DNA Mann. If necessary they could make him pink... maybe he's transitioning to DNA Womann. That would be very progressive and honor our partnership with UTHR.

I've got the new brand in my signature though

Mango, did you mean debt reduction or debt enlargement?

I don't know how to do it. Soooo unless BD gets inspired, "DNA person" stays.

mango - thanks for the list. It is helpful to remember all of the things we’ve known were on Mannkind’s plate. People are right to judge that not all of the things are of equal or even important value. It would be “nice” if they could refrain from bashing, but I suppose some of them cannot, or they would not be here.

What would be "nice" is if the handful of unwitting pumpers on this board would stop luring unsuspecting Proboards newcomers into thinking that MNKD is a good investment. For them, let me remind of MNKD's stock price history: $106.55 - 6/30/2006 $ 54.80 - 6/30/2014 $ 28.35 - 6/30/2015 $ 5.80 - 6/30/2016 $ 1.41 - 6/30/2017 $ 1.90 - 6/29/2018 (Hey, a great year) $ 1.15 - 6/29/2019 $ 1.10 - 3/11/2020 - current price MNKD stockholders have suffered repeated dilutions and a 1-for-5 split, where we all turned in 5 of our shares for 1 in return, which kept the SP from going below a dollar per share and being delisted from the stock exchange. MNKD stockholders future: more dilution and another reverse-split this year. Is MNKD a good long-term investment at this time? I think not. BUT, I am still holding every share of mine, including my first batch that I paid $3.80 for ($19 in pre-split dollars).
I spent years with a rose-colored glasses moniker, so I understand that demented mentality. You just really want to believe. But, my pumping days are over. Sure, pumpers can wish that bashers would shut up. I know, I used to. But, the above paragraph is not bashing ... just facts.
Another fact is that I have no intention on buying another share of MNKD until the board is refreshed and their complacent CEO is replaced. Now, THAT!!! would be the BEST catalyst.
note: Mango - I am not calling you a pumper. It's good to periodically remind yourself of the good and bad potentials on the horizon, and I'm glad that you started this thread. But, of that list, I am only realistically excited about pediatrics (not because it will be soon, but because of the magnitude of impact), and United Therapeutics (because of reliability, relative speed and potential impact).
The knight in shining armour on a white horse deep-pocketed partner is not around the corner, but, dilution and a reverse-split is.

The knight in shining armour on a white horse deep-pocketed partner is not around the corner, but, dilution and a reverse-split is. All good points! I disagree about the RS, I don't think we will ever see another one. And as far as the dilution goes, as Nate has pointed out many times before, dilution is quite normal in biotech and often necessary in order to advance the company so it can progress to the next step. TreT royalties will kick in in the near future and once it does, cash will never be a problem again. Compound that with more partnerships with royalty agreements, and/or more compounds with UT, US and international Afrezza sells, throw in the Peds, etc etc...man, it is hard not to be optimistic when you're a mango! Hope we see a great 2020!
