5 Days of Honoring a Legend—The Alfred E. Mann Tribute I figured this place could use some good vibes, so I'm posting this here now too. I started a little thing on twitter to showcase some cool Al Mann stuff. Feel free to add your own or comment if you like. Day 1 is here It is the syndicated NASA Space Story from 09/24/1984. Probably my all time favorite, it is a young Al in his element as a scientist. Super rare. (Al starts ~ 5:00) archive.org/details/NASA239Day 2 is here It is the 2010 Johns Hopkins University CBID Design Day Keynote. I've probably watched this one at least a dozen times over the years.

Mango - it would be great if you could dig up the video which was on Youtube where they honored Al at the ADA 2015 dinner.

There is a Gala Celebration video honoring Al from 2015 I was thinking of posting for tomorrow, that isn't what you're talking about though is it? Here's Day 3 This is the 2005 Von Liebig Forum video from the Jacobs School of Engineering at the University of California.

Mango - it may have been the Gala celebration. There was a dinner during ADA 2015 where they gave Al an award. It had a bunch of people like Kevin Sayer talking about how Al influenced their lives and changed the diabetes world. It was only available on Youtube for a short time before it was taken down.

The Gala Celebration one has both Kevin Sayer and Terrance Greg Executive Chairman of BoD of DexCom. Kevin is the 4th or 5th person to speak

Mango - No, it was not the USC Lifetime Achievement award. But, thanks for posting it. I had not seen it before. This video was an ADA lifetime achievement award during diner held during ADA2015.
The video was not professionally done and seemed to be from someone's cell phone. I was hoping someone on this board snagged a copy. One of the speakers was a VP from Sanofi. Kevin Sayer spoke plus a lot more. It was a who's who of the diabetes community.
