Sweedie: Yes I am a Mike C supporter. Call it lies, I’ll call raiding capital and it isn’t over yet. The individual had got off Scott free with no pressure is David Kimball who has done nothing to move the needle with his “influential” friends. Talk about Cush You mean Dr. Kendall?

Again...pesky facts...like when VDEX was looking into new markets to expand this algorithm. Less VDEX offices today than 3 years agoSports, is that true?

I’ve said this before. I hope I am wrong but I listened to this stuff for 3 years and nothing has changed. I think for the right patient Afrezza is life changing. The problem is (and I’ve said this multiple times on this site) the “right patient” is willing to inhale whenever their cgm tells them too. That is about 8 inhalation’s for a type 1 every day. The typical type 1 isn’t willing to do that. If I was a type 1 I would take Tresiba and follow my cgm on when yo take Afrezza. Again...wish the best for Mannkind Afrezza but get sick of seeing no meaning TRX growth and 10+ million dollar losses. And United Therapeutics has been proven to be questionable as well. Ok kick me off

Joeypotsnpans: like your posts, but the argument that big pharma is blunting Afrezza is just not true. After 4 years we are not a pimple on their ass and haven’t produced enough volume for them to ever mentioned Mannkind. If they ever got scared of our science and product they would just buy us. The big pharma blunting effect is another farce. Trust me...Afrezza is not in their mouth when they are talking to prescribers.

Give me a break. Sweedee, I’m just as frustrated as you, but I have to think that SOMETHING big is in the works..can’t be this incompetent in some areas like they appear to have been. Digital Marketing for starters..retention might not be great, but nobody even knows it’s out there still

I have been questioned about mine many times but unlike you, I continue to believe Afrezza has a bright future if we can get the right marketing partner that understands it and if we get Vdex fully on board. If, after marketing by a capable partner and Vdex have some time working with it, the market fails to accept it, then I would agree with you. I don't think for one minute we're there yet. IMHO

That is why there is so much frustration.

I don't know where PG is getting his info from but I know at least 5 Type 1's on Afrezza and LOVE IT. I know 2 Pediatric Endos who can't wait to put their patients on it. No one expected Afrezza to be an EARLY SUCCESS when you're going up against the BIG 3 Insulin Makers. I'll tell you one thing....Sanofi (the old CEO) knew the potential of Afrezza. We all know it was going to be a slow climb. Sales are climbing and MNKD is hiring more salespeople. AFREZZA WORKS and people love it. After MNKD gets Pediatric approval and hopefully an improved label.....They will sign a new marketing partner to handle the Type 2 Market. It's not going to happen over night but as long as sales are climbing LIFE IS GOOD. I certainly thought it would be early success, and I remember many posting here thought that as well. Congrats if you knew it would be so painfully slow. I assume if you bought shares it was at much, much lower price than many of us given your early insight into slow adoption... congrats. Though wish you'd shared that insight. I got into MNKD 5 years ago when they received FDA approval and Sanofi came on board. I believe if Sanofi stuck with Afrezza it would have shut down Apidra, taken the write off and concentrate on Afrezza. They would have pumped in more resources to get a better label and eventually buyout the Afrezza product and have it as their own prandial drug. Those are my original thoughts on why I got in MNKD. Also after speaking with my diabetic friends/relatives on insulin I knew it would be a slow slog in getting them to try Afrezza. When you understand the mentality and how people are creatures of habit, changing anything is tough and when you add in the PCPs and Endos.....you have an even tougher mountain to climb. Mike confirmed my realization when he said it will take 3 years to gain traction. IMO we are in the third year and yes sales are growing but I'm hoping for the hockey stick movement. I have been adding to my position and have lowered my cost basis. I have a long time horizon so I don't sweat the volatility. I am buying as much as I can below $1.50. One day this will pop and it will not stop rising. We don't know that time but when the train leaves the station....I hope you have bought as much as you can because I promise you - you will be saying damn...I wish I bought more. GLTA

An observation. 124 posts since 2016, quite active on this thread. Interesting.

Ok kick me off I read this whole thread but you lost me here with this post. Based on my reading, you no longer work for MNKD and you sold all your shares. So then why are you still sick of seeing no meaningful TRX growth and 10 million dollar losses. It has no effect on you at this point. And you also have a problem now with UTH which didn't really have anything to do with your role at MNKD? You lost me here. It seems like you are going through a tough time. I wish you luck.

The big pharma blunting effect is another farce. Trust me...Afrezza is not in their mouth when they are talking to prescribers. You're missing the point, they don't have to mention nor would they want to heed any attention directly to Afrezza....they just have to keep it off tier 2 formulary.... and the rest takes care of itself. They know the game because they are in it. SNY realized it was going to be a huge battle when they understood the insurance hurdle combined with the label. This isn't rocket science (no pun intended regarding speed). Make it near impossible for the patient to obtain and just play the system as it allows to be played. If Afrezza was tier 2, this board would have been gone a long long time ago with a lot of happy campers (Liane included) enjoying enriched lives monetarily and a lot of T1 and T2 patients enriched with improved health and lives in general. They know the science and thus why they have stealthily and shrewdly kept this incredible proxy for natural insulin out of patients hands. I guess NVO was quick to get FIASP on the market because they didn't feel threatened. The last thing they would want to do is mention Afrezza when talking to prescribers.....you're not seeing the bigger picture, perhaps you were born for better things than sales.

Again...pesky facts...like when VDEX was looking into new markets to expand this algorithm. Less VDEX offices today than 3 years ago Actually there’s more clinics and less Vdex’s “in doctors offices” which was a model they used long ago. And there’s some new ones nobody knows about. And more coming.
