How do you do that? I assume it would not survive an autoclave. Is wiping with alcohol sufficient? Could it be dunked in an alcohol bath?

I don't think they are used widely at this point, so it's really not much of concern at this point. But they certainly don't put other handheld electronic devices like thermometers and spirometry devices in autoclaves.

The question is significant if the device we to be used for training, such as at a clinic, but would have little relevance if BluHale were provided/prescribed to a patient and not shared. I would think that an alcohol wipe would be sufficient but, obviously, being able to have a low cost or free BluHale Pro would be ideal.

BlueHale snaps onto the Dreamboat inhaler. I would assume it could be wiped with a disinfectant cloth as mnholdem describes.

More than likely, it can be submerged in a bowl of isopropyl alcohol (overnight, an hour, whatever), and then set out to air dry.
