Good news, you're up Kendall... I don't follow this that much, but Castagna purchases before 20K shares the day before a Monday run up? Pretty nice gig to have.

Not that I don't buy into "Nice gig to have", but 5% possibility that the mere news of the insider purchase contributed to the run-up. OK, maybe not.

Looks like his whole family, wife + 3 kids bought shares. Nice vote of confidence.

In my mind, the primary reason is to help the warrant holder exercise and then help the company / himself in the process.
I see nothing wrong with this and applaud this move, whatever the reason...

The original premise was not that there was anything wrong, just reporting that there was a new Form 4!

Just curious about the decision on number of shares for his child.... Not claiming about the very low number.... sure... but about the difference.... I have only 1 child so may be I am not the perfect guy to understand it.... but If I had 2 or more I had bought the same amount for all of them... Also curious about the timing: The first was his wife... then the childs and the last was for him (Due to the particular continuous increasing day it is easy to see the timing)...

Interesting that there will be no news from Mannkind now that he has bought shares. But, that doesn't mean there will be no news from UTHR or anyone else.

Well, many of you wanted management to have more "skin in the game" though I'm sure it's not enough for some of you. They were just waiting for me to sell my trading shares before taking off like a rocket. Isn't that...........humorous?

Love to see the skin in the game. This is nothing but a good thing IMO, better late than never and hopefully there will be more to come!

I don't think you can reach any conclusion about purchases for the children. The form states "by child" which means the source of funds could be grandma, daddy, the piggy bank, or a summer job. Similarly, given the share numbers for the children it might be a reflection of the best bid/ask for fractional lots at the moment the trade was executed. The trade attributed to the wife is different because of the number of shares. Just keep in mind that Form 4 reporting and timing of share purchases by executives are subject to some pretty draconian SEC regulations. They cause all manner of mischief in trying to understand trading patterns by executives, and keep in mind that shares purchased by close family members are attributed to the executive whether the executive has any legal claim to the shares or not.

I took the share counts to indicate "piggy bank" purchases. If so, good to see the whole family involved.

Mike bought a bunch of shares. That’s good and unexpected news. All this attempted analysis of the intra-family allocation is unnecessary and irrelevant.
