After hours mean nothing ... tomorrow's numbers will definitely mean something. Financial report means MNKD is definitely headed in the right direction. I need to hear the CC to hear more about UTHR and international sales.
But, that's mytakeonit

MNKD raised $12.2 million using the ATM. Are we certain it was via the ATM? I read on the release that it was warrants. I think that would mean that their previous ATM remaining capacity is still in tact and available.

Did the right thing using ATM, hopefully well above $2.
Should be enough cash to last for about 6 quarters, just in time for TreT approval.

Couldn't take one more rise into earnings only to see the harsh reality of a pullback over the next couple of days slapping me in the face. Sold 7% of my MNKD at 3:59. Now we will see if it was smart or not. Either way, I will be a winner tomorrow. Kind of like not picking your favorite team to win March Madness in your bracket. If they don't you are ok, because they didn't blow up your bracket. If they do win it all, who cares about your bracket, they won an NCAA championship.

I think that would mean that their previous ATM remaining capacity is still in tact and available. Yes, the release said $12.2 from the ATM. "The increase was primarily due to the receipt of a $12.5 million United Therapeutics milestone payment, $12.2 million of net proceeds received from the at-the-market offering, $11.6 million received from warrant exercises and the origination of a Paycheck Protection Program loan for $4.9 million, offset by non-GAAP net cash used in operating activities of $27.4 million." No worries about the ATM though. Since the shareholders authorized more shares, if the ATM is exhausted the company can simply put up a new ATM facility. There is a bit of paperwork involved, but no approvals are necessary from shareholders, and it can be done very quickly.

Unfortunately ATM offering not at the price I hoped for.
Still, the survival until CFBE is #1 priority.
In February 2018, the Company entered into a controlled equity offering sales agreement (the “CF Sales Agreement”) with Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. (“Cantor Fitzgerald”), as sales agent, pursuant to which the Company may offer and sell, from time to time, through Cantor Fitzgerald, shares of the Company’s common stock having an aggregate offering price of up to $50.0 million or such other amount as may be permitted by the CF Sales Agreement. Under the CF Sales Agreement, Cantor Fitzgerald may sell shares by any method deemed to be an “at the market offering” as defined in Rule 415 under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended. For the six months ended June 30, 2020, the Company sold an aggregate of 7,871,461 shares of the Company’s common stock at a weighted average purchase price of $1.64 per share for an aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $12.9 million pursuant to the CF Sales Agreement.

MNKD raised $12.2 million using the ATM. Dilution always the solution. Minimal dilution, especially if the shares were sold during the run-up just prior to the warrant expiration. Better terms than a placement or Midcap.

I just heard on the call they used both the ATM and got about the same amount of funds from the exercise of the warrants. Over 20 million. I THINK he also said something about institutional investors putting in new funds.

I think with enough cash for about 8 mos plus maybe another 12.5 end of this year from UTHR, MNKD might run up a bit in this bio market. It better, I jumped back in with a little in after hours

It better, I jumped back in with a little in after hours MNKD is in the best financial condition since Sanofi.... as I tried to say on the Shoutbox. To my mind, this is the best call they have had in quite a while. I am uncharacteristically expecting an increase in the stock price.

Nonetheless I expect/predict that the hedgies and/or shorts that routinely control and manipulate the stock price will open tomorrow with a strong downward push to scare folks and create the perception that the call was not good. DON'T BE FOOLED.
Things are looking up.

An excellent quarter. MC sounding very very strong. Yes, but the SP won't move too much since there isn't any new positive news. Just the same ole with the dates moved but with better balance. The shorts will play it like the past. I think price action will be minimal unless MC can surprise us with a new collaboration or something.
