I think the new term to use is "Kajillionaire" ... so I'll wait for that. Probably closer to $200 per share.
But, that's mytakeonit

I’m amazed no one chatting about this—TreT will have 3 years of exclusivity for Group 3 PAH which is for 130K patients. This does not even include the patients on Tyvaso for Group 1 PAH. Group 3 = ILD-PH (30K pts) + COPD-PH (100K pts) = 130K patients. Even if we only garner half of that it is still with no competitors and with exclusivity. Do the math. Not only will TreT have a window of exclusivity (3 years) there will be ZERO competition as there is ZERO approved therapies for Group 3 PAH. This will easily be >$100M in annual royalties (from one single product franchise!) I can’t spell it out any more clearer than this Given the safety profile built over years of daily patient use of Afrezza, the pathway is much clearer going forward with other products.

How much are those calls Rooks? How do they work? 2023 calls would be where it’s aaaaaaaat! I don’t know how to do calls though ☹️ When would one need to hypothetically get these calls? Is there a deadline? Cheaper now than say 6 months from now? 🤷♂️ Cheaper later, too expensive now. The deadline is January 2023. I would buy them in 2021. If you think the stock is going to go up quickly you could buy the 2022s and roll them over later. There’s not much time left on the 2021s. I have them though. I’m hoping to sell them and roll over to 2023’s later.

Ahhh ... I figured that I'd use that because the new IN movie is "Kajillionaire". ... Just trying to keep up with the times. But ... when MNKD starts to take off ... people will be trying to keep up with me. Ha!
But, that's mytakeonit

Rooks maybe buying the calls that I am selling. I sold 200 calls with strike $3.00 for Feb 19, 2021. I am covered on the calls. I have many more shares that will be happy if the price is over $3.00 on Feb 19, 2021. The premium has already been reinvested in more MNKD. How much do those 200 calls cost to buy? And the price has to be at or above $3 to win? I don’t see the PPS being at $3 by next Feb but hope I’m wong. Mango, I received 23 cents per share by selling the calls. Today Bids to buy the same calls are 5 cents per share and the Ask is 40 cents per share. A very large spread. There has been any transactions for this strike/date for several days since I sold my Calls.

So you can pay .39 per share? So is there 100 shares per call? So 100 X 200 = 20,000 shares total in the 200 calls? $7,800 total for all 200 calls at .39 ea?

If you bought 200 calls, if you bought 5 it would be $195. Buy in increments. Since you’ve never bought calls before just buy a few and follow what happens and you’ll understand it.

mango your math is correct and sports’ advice is sound. Rather than jumping in and buying 200 calls, just get your feet wet with a few, and get the feel for different strike prices and dates, how the decay works, etc.

So these, just for example sake, have a $3 strike. From what I’ve read the PPS doesn’t have to be 3 or above to win but it can actually be a little lower than 3 and you can still make money? Is this correct? Or it must be at least $3? I would definitely take your advice and just buy a small amount at first, but don’t think I’d get $3 feb 2021 calls though. I’m not sure we will be at that price by then. Which calls are looking the best to you right now?

I’m not sure we will be at that price by then. Which calls are looking the best to you right now? The $.39 calls are $2 strike. I would not buy $3 calls. Yes they would be cheaper and yes you could possibly make money on them if everybody else starts buying them which would drive up the price. You can sell at anytime, you don’t have to wait till you hit the strike.. but after the stock does hit the strike price and you add in what you paid for the call all the money you put in is going to jump tremendously. Because now those options you bought at $.39 each are now worth let’s just say $2.50 each. You can exercise them at that point if you want to but most people just go ahead and sell the options then they buy some more which they call rolling over ..all that means is you buy more options at a higher strike. cretin can maybe explain it better:-) Just remember if the stock does not get to the strike price by the time the option runs out which depends on whatever option you picked, then you lose everything you put in. You have a dead option that’s worthless. So you always wanna sell your options probably a month before they expire because time delay runs out faster the closer you get to the strike price. Of course I’m speaking about long-term options, there’s people that play weekly and monthly options all the time that wait till the last minute.
