One negative comment and one positive comment.
Negative... It’s a bridge too far to think they’ll PR this tomorrow or Thursday.
Positive... The reason this has taken so long is they are going to release the consumer version at the same time as the professional version, and it will be integrated with DEXCOM straight out of the gate.

Isn't Bluehale just a training device for patients to understand the proper way to inhale their meds? Is the FDA involved with this device? Please excuse my question if it is a dumb one.....

Two versions have been discussed. A “professional” training version, like you’ve described, and a commercial/consumer version that supposedly will be able to detect proper inhalation AND dosing. The latter having the potential for integration into eHealth systems that track blood sugar and the sundry data analysis that can result from collecting this information.

I do not have a link, only an impression. I believe the device is capable of collecting inhalation data and sending that data. Blue hale and UTHR.

The FDA would have to approve it if it was sold to the public. It is possible that they would need to do an equivalence trial to prove dosing with Bluhale produces the same result as dosing with DreamBoat (think of the MedTone to DreamBoat change).

IMO, give it away in exchange for anonymized data from the devices. More veins of gold? Just wondering...

I am still unclear as to why this thread/countdown was started?

I am still unclear as to why this thread/countdown was started? I started it to bring visibility to the fact that Mannkind still has not released Bluehale as a training tool or for any other purpose. At the beginning of the year, they promised it in Q2, then it was Q3, which has now come to pass. MC talks vaguely as to availability in the past three conferences, with only one committing to a release in Q3. It’s an example of the ongoing complacency, lack of confidence in meeting self-prescribed goals, and lack of communication that I believe plagues this company. I answered your question, but please do not come back and tell me to sell my shares. As a shareholder, I have every right to expect the company to meet its objectives and/or be transparent enough about it to help its shareholders to understand why the company consistently misses its goals and objectives. It fails its shareholders again by ignoring their missed steps and not communicating with us. The counter is still running, btw, it’s just accumulating time now based on how far off the mark they are.

Was was told by the engineers at the 2019 ASM in NYC, that Bluehale would be integral to administering Tre-T. It was not clear if it would be used as a trading aide or required to measure every dose.
My assumption is that it will be released/announced/available consistant with the Tre-T launch.

The trial has to use the device that will be prescribed.

Aged - Bluhale is a non-intrusive listening device. It does not replace the dreamboat and does not in anyway help in delivering the medication. What kind of trial are you looking for for what's basically a case you put the dreamboat in?
