It certainly sounds good, but we were already concerned there may be dilution before this acquisition... Now what? Hopefully he is not saving it for another xmas massacre.

Yes I remember when everybody was at each other’s throat’s.. it’s from being over invested because that makes you emotionally over invested and then you start attacking the people that seem to be attacking your dreams.
Here’s a post from Nate, who says again like I keep saying, the market is forward-looking. He was asked when the institutions are going to start investing in Mannkind.
“They already seem to be putting $ into MNKD; generally speaking, yes - analysts and fund managers are just as susceptible to "herd mentality" as retail investors, and, as you've seen me write, it is quite common to see analysts who have no interest in a stock at $5 start to like it at $10... and then love it at $20... since rising prices always help boost confidence, whereas as "weak" action makes one wonder "what could be wrong - what am I missing?"; again, I don't know what it will take to actually "open the floodgates," but I do know that it will definitely not be waiting for the royalties to actually hit the income statement (once a trend starts to reverse and Wall Street begins to shift gears from worrying about the past and begins to look to the future instead, that's exactly what it does, i.e. it will start to factor future income into the share price BEFORE it actually comes into existence).“

If you wait for the floodgates to open, then you will definitely be a part of the herd mentality. If you analyze the company and see a definite possibility for a bright future, then that's where you will be able to load up cheap shares. By the time MNKD hits $20 a share ... I would have made over 20X my purchase price for shares.
But, that's mytakeonit

Track 5: Wealth of Wisdom 10:00 AM - 10:20 AM A bit of technical difficulties in the beginning =/ ....so just fast forward to 9:30 mins into the video! Mike was late to the meeting, “technical errors”. He starts at 10:00. Will be filing Afrezza in Australia “soon” and said will start P3 testing in India “soon”. He also mentioned Bluehale very quickly but didn’t elaborate. Said royalties from TreT won’t hit until 4Q22 but will have earnings from mfg TreT in anticipation for launch. Cash burn is $13/qtr and didn’t mention anything about needing to raise any money. There were 3 analysts asking questions and seemed more interested in $$ than product pipeline.

Mike said current UT mfg. is between 10 and 20% of sales. He used the lower figure and said it’d probably start around $50 million. I forgot where I heard that. Oppenheimer? Maybe

Mike said at Oppenheimer event "I guess we can look at United Therapeutics and see what their COGS are... let's call it 10% or 20%, so on a 500M dollar product that's 50M in COGS". When I looked at their 10Q it said for 3rd quarter "Cost of Product Sales" was 5M for 129M in sales. That is only about 4% ... It seems low to me and perhaps "Cost of Product Sales" is not the same thing as COGS... s1.q4cdn.com/284080987/files/doc_financials/2020/q3/UTHR-10Q-Q3-2020-vFINAL-10-26-20-(includes-exhibits).pdfThe good news is that the Manufacturing fees will be over and above 10% royalties and even 5% additional income will be substantial.

Re: Mike's comment that TreT royalties would start in Q4 2022, this made no sense to me so I reached out to MNKD. Mike clarifed that he intended to say the revenue stream would begin Q4 2021 to Q1 2022.
