Judy is at it also. Seems they don’t like some thing I said on here today. I see those posts now. Judy and Nate taking direct aim at you, with blatant fabrications no less (but not surprising). My God, I made one attempt to interact with Nate a year or two ago on Twitter (sports witnessed it) and it was a train wreck. He's like a cult leader. Not much point to it, nor to caring what he says or doesn't say.

From everything I’ve read or heard about Nate, he’s very good at making investment choices although I expect MNKD may have been a disappointment for him. I don’t follow him, and there have been several here who traded around a core of free shares (obtained by trading) and perhaps Nate’s done that too and is up overall. I don’t know. But I’ve never heard anyone refute that he’s good at what he does, and that would be the reason to listen to what he says. But it does seem strange to be a good investment counselor and yet lock horns with idiots on social media. That’s actually what I would expect from Shkreli, Cramer, and Fuerstein.

Nate had some great investments in the past, but mis-stepped on MNKD. Instead of owning it and moving on, he has doubled and tripled down insisting that he has been correct all along. Now it has escalated into him just attacking everyone that dares question his thesis. He can’t handle proper discourse so he hides over at ST parroting his garbage for the few “echo chamber” followers he has.

I believe Nate has made a good call in sticking to Mannkind as I have. Time will tell, and patience is a virtue. Its not about the song and dance online but about our original investment in Al Mann and Afrezza. Sometimes a tenacious persistence is whats required to overcome an entrained belief system. To a new and improved SOC and I dont really care who talks crap about who but rather what they do. There are many that talk about what to few do.

Yeah it’s one thing to botch a stock pick as he did with MNKD (naming it his top pick of the year when it was over $35 for example), but worse is the reaction in denying the mistake, insisting he has “never been wrong” on MNKD, and bullying people who dare to disagree. Maybe ego is the reason, but it’s sad and embarrassing.
OTRK was another hot pick of his a couple of years ago, it hasn’t helped his track record (that was once pretty decent).

Al has been gone for years.. None of us has to invest in a stock and stay invested only because we are loyal to Al Mann.. Ive heard that even the Mann foundation no longer holds shares.. this is a business.. I'm not entirely sure Al would be happy with how things have turned out.

While that may (or may not) be true, I did see this in the most recent 10-K ( investors.mannkindcorp.com/node/18821/html): (emphasis mine)

The current stock ownership appears to be nil according to Bloomberg from around March or April. The note referenced in the 10K is a loan and not stock ownership although it could be converted into stock at the foundation's discretion.

My thought was that perhaps they sold some or all of their position to capture the higher price knowing they could buy back in at a lower price with interest.

As I remember it the West Lake location once belonged to Mannkind and was the hub of all research and development prior to Danbury. I am not sure the only thing left at that location is executive offices?

MannKind is paying over 40K a month for the Westlake offices. That’s absurd and we’re not even profitable. I just looked and MannKind has a 3rd physical location: 293 Boston Post Road West Suite 330 Marlborough, MA 01752 Interestingly, this is/was the location of Zealand Pharma. Hmmm, that's a half-hour from where I live, just sayin'. Let us know how the drop in goes! 😁

Apologies if this has already been posted here, but I believe that location was the V-Go facility acquired as part of the V-Go purchase agreement.
