I can't imagine why anyone would be short right now. There is no upside. United Therapeutics needs our success for their success. There is no theory that makes sense on the short side and tons of catalysts on the long side.

$40/share is about the only way I'll be happy to be a Mannkindalorian. Idk about others but I invested just prior to Afrezza getting approved and kept investing all the way up to the $8 range. After the 5/1 reverse split and price depreciation I'm sitting on. Roughly 4k shares and loss of about $45k. Learning not to put all of your eggs in one basket has been a tough lesson to learn the hard way. I hope for all longs we get to $40. I believed in Al when he said he wouldn't sell for 20 billion and Afrezza would be the best selling drug of all time. Good luck everyone

$40/share is about the only way I'll be happy to be a Mannkindalorian. Idk about others but I invested just prior to Afrezza getting approved and kept investing all the way up to the $8 range. After the 5/1 reverse split and price depreciation I'm sitting on. Roughly 4k shares and loss of about $45k. I've also been an investor since pre-approval (which meant suffering through three FDA submissions with all the suspense around the PDUFA dates– as I'm sure you recall). Then, the rest of the painful story, including the incredulous Sanofi exit, has been equally harrowing. It's my personal belief that Al Mann was right about the game changing nature of Afrezza for users, but incorrect about its blockbuster sales potential. The potential lies in Technosphere, not in Afrezza, IMO. This board was once occupied by many exuberant longs who gave up one by one and moved on to greener pastures. There have been previous and disappointing head fakes with MNKD, so consider me skeptical. I'll watch this one with detached interest until it's clearer what is propelling this move. It is possible that it's simply a changed narrative that now favors long positions and has become contagious. Nate Pile, who's been steadfast for MNKD and what he calls the strangest market story ever, has speculated that this type of move could occur. There is a herd mentality, and the market does look ahead farther than we think. So let's hope this run up is a combination of a change in sentiment and short covering or a prelude to something positive yet to be announced. I hope it is not a sale, but I'd be pretty ok with a partial buy-in by an established partner. Time will tell. Good luck. Chris C |

Some of us are still here, with a bunch of newcomers who didn’t have to suffer through all the pain. It’s easy to be giddy if you’re relatively new to the story, but I hope share price goes to where the long timers recoup all their losses and then some... |

I remember some arm chair CEOs here saying we should sell off TS to raise the money to do additional clinical trials and market Afrezza properly.
What a mistake that would have been. Someone else would have owned the golden goose that will power MNKD for decades to come.
