Does anyone have an idea when a realistic date for pediatric approval will be possible? It seems to me that the pediatric population would be the most open to adopting this drug. Being able to use an inhaler at school or during sports instead of injection has tremendous appeal in this image-sensitive population. Additionally, compliance with insulin therapy would improve in this population.

They could do it long time ago but was short on capital. Kids are already use Afrezza off label from what I heard. |

Did they ever read out the results of the Phase II pediatric trials? I don’t believe I’ve ever seen them even mention them other than to say they started the various age groups at different points in time. Normally a company will reveal results of these phases since they generate interest in the next steps towards approval and attracts new investors. The stealth mode at MNKD goes against any transparency claims they’ve made in recent years.

My question re: the possibility of MNKD raising $100M was based on the value of the measurable upswing combined with the trading volume over 2-3 days. If MNKD did sell ATM shares in this time period for any amount close to $100M, consider my post (other thread) an outside-in best guess. Were they to use raised funds to accelerate approval and entry into the pediatric market with Afrezza, that would be strategically smart. We could hope that might be the case. Cheers! |

I dont think raising $100M and then spending it to advance pediatric approval would be wise. Sorry but how long would it take to recoup that money off pediatric afrezza sales? The return on investment probably isn't good. It would be better served on advancing the pipeline.

Pediatrics should and could put AFREZZA ON THE MAP ... were it belongs / if it goes the way I
Think it can ... the media coverage we’ve been deserving might come home to roost .../ 60 minutes 😀
Ok Ok wishful thinking.but at least mainstream media. This is still a big deal .

It is simply the often repeated refrain here. "If a child begins inhaled insulin, would they ever choose to transition to injections"? Every parent knows how much kids love needles.  |

I too think pediatric approval will be major media headline news seen in all diabetes publications and on most TV health news programs. There aren't a lot of game changing, life enhancing stories that would top this for current news.

They’re not being altruistic telling the story ! This will be an attention getter for them , maybe in a bigger way then even I believe ,, the story can be
Told in a truthful and fascinating way.finally a positive story to be told ...🤔but does good news sell ! Hope so..

How did they bump the stock price in the first place? As much as we hate shorts for their dirty tricks.....
