Is it just me, or is that second photo (view of the partially demolished building) not reminiscent of an All Terrain Armored Transport, or AT-AT walker, from Star Wars?
Anyway, sure, hope this means big things for MNKD. Maybe that overall confidence of UTHR is being reflected in the MNKD share price?

Maybe its a technosphere plant. That would seem to fit the timeline. I doubt MNKD can shoe-horn anything into Danbury with out major considerations. With the kids trial coming up I am sure they don't want to loose afrezza production.

Didn’t we build an addition in Danbury: accordingly

Didn’t we build an addition in Danbury: accordingly Exactly. That's MNKD's plant. If UTHR wants to do the production itself (and IIRC that is its right, someone correct me if I am mistaken), presumably it would want its own plant.

The original deal was that UTHR would be responsible for manufacturing Tyvaso DPI. Yes, Mannkind is now taking contract manufacturing orders from UTHR. But that might be short term or long term. How many years and months do you think it will take to finish tearing down that building and construct a new building and install manufacturing equipment and get FDA approval for manufacturing?

The building was in the 1983 sci-fi movie “Brainstorm" with Natalie Wood.

Always a cool building to drive by, with that space age appearance. However, when it was built back in the late 60s/early 70s, it was loaded with asbestos insulation. And not just the “usual” asbestos: they used tons of spray asbestos insulation and that stuff is particularly nasty and hazardous. It’s a shame, but the building became not useful because of that and some other reasons.

About TPIP Treprostinil palmitil inhalation powder (TPIP) is a dry powder formulation of treprostinil palmitil, a treprostinil prodrug consisting of treprostinil linked by an ester bond to a 16-carbon chain. Developed entirely in Insmed's laboratories, TPIP is a potentially highly differentiated prostanoid being evaluated for the treatment of patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and other rare and serious pulmonary disorders. TPIP is administered in a capsule-based inhalation device.

That it is administered in a capsule based inhalation device seems a little technosphere..ish. I may well be incorrect. The UTHR tie-in is in the following link. It may not mean much. I'm still digging. insmed.com/management-team/eugene-sullivan-m-d/
