I saw this article or another very similar. Thought to myself, hey, a lot of people on this board purchase 6.557K shares and never even get a mention about it. Now, if it had been 65K or 650K shares, there's a completely different story!

Yes, this is old news. They were employee stock plan purchases, not open market buys.

Actually, it does change the perception, if it's an automatic purchase plan and such a small amount. It's not very actionable.

Insider doesn't buy shares in open markets because they don't have confidence about their own work improving the company. Bunch of freeloaders living off our money.

You apparently trust your mind-reading capability more than I trust mine. I assume insiders were asked to be employed by the company because everyone had confidence about their work being beneficial to the company, and how they choose to invest their assets is their own business. Perhaps they feel bitcoin or TSLA stock will make them more money, in which case they should invest in that rather than MNKD.

IMO, it barely registers as news. It is clickbait, trying to sell a product.

Everyone who gets hired looks good on paper but their performance sucks. Just pretend to work diligently and stay below the radar. That's how I see it.

I’d disagree with the sweep of the net you cast, preferring to say that some hires perform in the mediocre risk avoidant way you suggest. Yet, others I have hired in different parts of organizations came to work with an ethic that drove them to leave a legacy during their watch— and for most of them it was pride and not greed that motivated their effort. In turn, I tried to recognize that their value greatly exceeded their cost and I moved heaven and earth to keep them because they were always sought by others. That is true job security: A reputation for always exceeding expectations regardless of the task or timeframe that offers you an invitation any time you need it.

Chris-C ... I should have had you as my boss. I had the President of the company not knowing what I did. People who worked with me did ... so what the heck When the company was being bought out ... the head guy held interviews with every employee to see what was everyone'stakeonit. The president didn't like me, but the rest of the company loved me for what I was doing. The new president wanted to double my salary if I stayed to work with him. I told him thank you, but no thank you. I had enough of working for others ... and would quit and take care of my stocks. (long story cut short) But, that's mytakeonit

I was just ranting about mnkd leaders in the past. So far, the wonderboys, savior of the company turns out to be all talk without results. Prior CEOs and CMOs and board members done squat. Mnkd got lucky with United because of Alfred Mann's relationship with the CEO, not Mike.

Mnkd got lucky with United because of Alfred Mann's relationship with the CEO, not Mike. I will let you know my feelings on how “lucky” Mike got over the next few months...there has to be more than just wait till UTHR revenues come in 12 months..I think we find out a lot about Mike these next weeks/months..good or bad
