Trying to figure out if this a good move or not. They lose ownership and now will pay rent of 10-11 million.
The rent is an expense and can be deducted off the top line.
The money can possible go to paying down loans, overhead and growing technosphere. Who knows how much they do of each.
Commercial real estate markets will see massive headwinds going forward as more people work from home.

It's kinda obvious their going to sell...or merge..the new owners will be paying..is my guess..UTHR maybe...after all..this place does hold their baby..I suspect some surprise quick buyout or merger..shock and awe thing maybe..the shorts should have their hearts pulled out and still pumping on the table when this happens |

Always enjoy reading your posts. I am curious how you think the conv. notes plays into your belief that a sell or merger being likely. The notes would suggest otherwise, no?

Sorry but everything they're doing points to the contrary... I wish/hope you were right and would be happy to be proved wrong but everything I heard on the last call between subletting the plant and developing new formulation and their plan with liquid thyroid medicine shows they are going at it alone. I think they saw an opportunity to raise more cash and took advantage at these stock prices not knowing what the future would bring. Sucks for all of us but typical now in MNKDland. I don't think the Danburry deal fell apart as I have heard others suggest as there's no way they could come up with a deal this quickly after reporting earnings just a few days prior.
If you have evidence to the contrary please share....

Don't you see it yet?..that's it..game over for shorts..the mnkd world belongs to the longs now..this action..is all the shorts had..their out of steam now..market is flying...erupting..MNKD will be bank rolled..over sold..and primed for merger..buyout...no where for shorts to hide..stimulus checks are coming bond market freezing off..hmm..perfect timing.. |

Interestingly my shares were covered and returned to me right before this recent rise from the 2's. Ive been checking constantly to see if they would return and they haven't? Are there just the new MNKD shareholders in panic that haven't been through the past 7-8 years of turmoil? My shares are still not lent out just sucks because I never felt better and more secure after last weeks calls. It felt like we really didn't need the money which is what has left me really confused?
