I would love to see an explanation of what you observe. Perhaps someone at NASDAQ, the DTCC, or SEC could tell us? For some reasons I have my doubts.

I think MNKD stock was so buried by shorts, they are still unwinding. Then they are buying. We see it in the real time delivery? I think it is being done through the options market? Like this. I have MNKD in an IRA. How do I know the broker dealer I have holding it, didn't use it to lend out? Buried. an 11 year service and then a lowering to the grave. MNKD rose from the dead. It took three years.... Biblical. Matt is gone. Everybody knows revenues are going to increase For MNKD.  |

If you have a margin account in your Roth then they can loan out your shares, if you do not then they cannot.

Looks like we'll find out, tomorrow, whether some of these larger off-hours or last minute, late in the day, trades are short positions closing out trying to make a 10-20% gain before the rising SP evaporates all gains, to date. Not saying it is so, but certainly hoping so. Could we see a 10%, multi-million share drop in shares shorted?

That's a bit of a leap from what I wrote, but provided the corruption around the hedge fund husband of the FDA employee that got a letter from Shkreli that led to the delays in approval for Afrezza, and the ensuing relentless shorting that has surpressed the SP, since, I can't say I disagree with the statement, other than it wasn't the FDA that was bought, but someone employed by the FDA, reportedly through her husband. Bad actors can be found in any large org, at any level. It doesn't mean the org as a whole is complicit with their individual nefarious deeds. |

Agree that one person caught in corruption doesn't mean the org as a whole is corrupt though it's also possible, maybe even likely, there are others that haven't been caught...yet.

After ALL that Belfort did, scamming 100's of millions of dollars, he got just 22 months in jail. Needless to say, I'm with you. Another one will pop up. Heck, I'd have to think about doing 22 months for that kind of cash and I've never in my life stolen so much as a candy bar. Lol |
