1,355,912 shares @ 4.48$ came across level 2 at 16:52 pm
Looks like about 41% of dark pool trades yesterday were shares short. I'm guessing today is a red letter day.

Looks like we'll find out, tomorrow, whether some of these larger off-hours or last minute, late in the day, trades are short positions closing out trying to make a 10-20% gain before the rising SP evaporates all gains, to date. Not saying it is so, but certainly hoping so. Could we see a 10%, multi-million share drop in shares shorted? I read the recent churn wrong on this one, at least for this go around. It looks like short interest went up 400k+ shares vs. going down. We live, we invest, we learn.

But the modest increase in short interest does give us useful info, including (as many have been saying for a while) that short interest isn’t “trapped” or any version of that. To the contrary, the current short interest is quite comfortable and in no hurry to exit. Fortunately, that short position isn’t nearly as significant as it once was, it’s mostly a curiosity rather than the albatross we viewed it as several years ago.

Would like to see it evaporate. And, just like water, under the right conditions it will.

I’m guessing MNKD closes at 3.99 or 4.00 today. Hope we get some positive news before year end to get back to $5.

Took today as opportunity to sell some Feb 18 $4 strike puts for $0.45 each. Money at risk is $3.55. If it stays above $4 through Feb 18 I pocket 12.6% vs money at risk. Annualized that works out to 86% return. Only start loosing money if share price drops below $3.55.

This stock isn't investing, it seems to be a form of roulette.

This stock isn't investing, it seems to be a form of roulette. It certainly gets spun a lot, but sometimes you start seeing patterns of where it stops.

As sp drops it's always good to add. Why never good price to sell if sp keeps dropping?

From a while back I seem to remember $3.60 being resistance, but have to ask Peppy?

It does look like a decent place to add shares with maybe a stop at 3 1/2. As sp drops it's always good to add. Why never good price to sell if sp keeps dropping? Well, it depends on your personal situation and investing strategy. I had 150+ different stocks in my portfolio after switching brokers earlier this year. Too many stocks to easily manage. Today, I sold a small amount of BMO and MS at a gain. I also had a small amount of shares (relative to my total holdings) of MNKD in a tax lot at ~$8.50/share that I sold. Balanced out the tax consequences for me. (So, I thought it a good idea for me to sell a small amount as the SP was dropping.) Volume? My portfolio is now down from 150+ to only 18 stocks. Less than $10 total in realized gains. And I have $ available to invest in something else now.

WOW ... you da man !!! Ahhh ... wait. You only had a $10 total gain If yes, then I guess it's better than a $10 loss. Ha! But, I don't worry about the share price because I know that it's going UP !!! Big time next year !!! I will be selling 10k shares before the end of the year ... if anyone wants a fabulous price. Unless it starts climbing before then. But, that's mytakeonit
