I do like the Afrezza Healthcare Professional Site. Check it out. A link is available on the top toolbar of the patient site (see OP for link). You may be interested in the AfrezzaAssist:
”AfrezzaAssistSM is a one-stop-hub solution which helps your patients get access to Afrezza and stay on therapy. Services include comprehensive reimbursement support and pharmacy fulfillment, as well as product training and support to help improve patient care.”
One could make a valid argument that a better strategic business model is one that encourages HCPs to prescribe.
Is it true that ExpressScripts dropped coverage for Afrezza? I hope that wasn’t due to insurance negotiators at MannKind dropping the ball. A more likely scenario is that continuously low prescriptions since 2014 has convinced ES that there’s too little financial incentive to cover Afrezza. MannKind doesn’t have a family of TS drugs to use as leverage. It’s often an obstacle for many small drug makers.

Seems to be too much focus on past disappointments without enough focus on what's coming in the not too distant future. When UTHR shows tens of thousands of people how TS inhalation improves quality of life and pediatric approval shows parents their screaming children have a better option than multiple daily shots, everything changes.
Pediatric approval will not only carry over to increased usage of Afrezza by adults but will finally send a message to reluctant doctors how safe managed insulin treatment can be. This counters the now antiquated perspective they were all taught in school. While all of this used to be many years away, this is no longer the case. The golden goose did have failing health but is now gaining strength. Staying the course without giving anything away is likely the most profitable path and should be seen in the pps in the next year or two at the latest. Just offering a forward looking perspective. All IMO.

Vdex is the result of ADA and FDA’s negligence and incompetence of diabetes care. The SOC is a proven failure—that’s a fact. Vdex had proven to mitigate that failure by implementing a specific treatment option that has been proven both scientifically and in the real world settings to restore glucose homeostasis and be far superior to any other oral or insulin product on the market today. The day the egos are left at the door is the day we can open it. Bingo. Also, the current Afrezza label and SOC essentially guarantee that Mannkind alone CANNOT make significant progress within the diabetes community. Put another way, more money for marketing won't fix this. At this point in time, only VDEX can significantly expand the use of Afrezza, and the sooner Mike Castagna accepts this and acts upon it, the better. Mannkind should be directing diabetics to VDEX rather than spending millions trying to convince endos who don't understand Afrezza to prescribe it. Afrezza has a great future, but Mannkind alone cannot deliver it.

I’ve been invested since 07. When my girlfriend..Al Mann’s daughter-in-law suggested it. My personal training client Tom got both his T1 children on Afrezza. The first kids to ever use it. I’ve been a Afrezza advocate for over a decade. I want to see it become a blockbuster. I’m not sure why Endo’s will prescribe it to kids if they won’t prescribe it to adults ...also 94% of diabetics don’t know about it yet. So we are in need of solutions.
With that being said, I am excited about TrepT. This stock is going up I have no doubts💪🏻❣️👍🏻 A high tide raises all boats...just like the truth rises to the top.

I believe the Peds trial design will show how much more effective and safe insulin can be for children, then adults will follow. Do most kids go to Pediatric endocrinologists? We heard MC say more than once that they wanted to get the dosing right for Peds and the India P3 trial to show superior results.

We heard MC say more than once that they wanted to get the dosing right for Peds and the India P3 trial to show superior results. The most important outcome for a pediatric trial is to provide data that should prove once for all that Technosphere Insulin is superior to SQ injected insulin. Alfred Mann once explained that earlier trials protocols were not controlled as tightly as they should have been and that HCPs at the trial sites were administering the doses 15-30 minutes ahead rather than immediately before eating. This resulted in many more hypo events than should have occurred. The result was that the comparator arm had less hypos, making Afrezza seem less safe. That’s still on the label and, in my opinion, has been the biggest hurdle for getting doctors on board.. Large clinical trials are expensive so it was financially prudent to wait until the pediatric trial to finally prove that TI is much safer than injecting insulin. And, as you mentioned, it is hoped that a new mindset will be adopted in the industry that, if the ped trial outcomes prove that Technosphere Inhaled Insulin Powder is proven safer for children than insulin injection, it should be safer for adults.

Yes they do. And yes that was encouraging. Can they do it though? Vdex helping couldn’t hurt the situation. Sports, I want VDEX to have Mucho Grande success! I see it as only a positive for MNKD and Afrezza! It does puzzle me that they do not have a Google Places landing page for each location with many 5 Star reviews. My little Jackson Hewitt Tax Service in Greeley Co has over 100 reviews with a 4+ Star rating. Two years ago we had 4 reviews and a 2.5 rating. I realized at that time, 2 years ago, that we needed to get going on our Google rating because I felt that our staff was the friendliest and most experienced staff in Greeley. So now I ask the staff "If you are the friendliest and most experienced taxpreparers in Greeley ask your customers to say something nice about you on Google. It worked! Google "Jackson Hewitt Tax Greeley Co"

Another thing is I’m sure you guys look at the Afrezza Facebook page and see how these people are struggling daily ..with dosing, with inhaling, with insurance. But thank God for that page because they all help each other.
When someone gets a prescription it would be great if they got an Afrezza/assist business card, contact information for Vdex, and a link to the Facebook page. ( Just an idea:-)
✨You know, there need not be a battle here. We both want the same thing and we can both contribute to getting there. ~Bill

Captain obvious here ...but some people prefer to go to their Endo and get a prescription and go home and figure it out for themselves. Others prefer a clinic setting where they’re monitored weekly because they’re a little leery of something new.
