I’ve been invested since 07. When my girlfriend..Al Mann’s daughter-in-law suggested it. My personal training client Tom got both his T1 children on Afrezza. The first kids to ever use it. I’ve been a Afrezza advocate for over a decade. I want to see it become a blockbuster. I’m not sure why Endo’s will prescribe it to kids if they won’t prescribe it to adults ...also 94% of diabetics don’t know about it yet. So we are in need of solutions. With that being said, I am excited about TrepT. This stock is going up I have no doubts💪🏻❣️👍🏻 A high tide raises all boats...just like the truth rises to the top. When you said “I’ve been a afrezza advocate for over a decade,” it made me think... what ever happened to Sam Finta and Eric Fenar? Do you know? Yes Sam is helping people on the Afrezza Facebook page ...( him and Bill compare notes once in awhile ) He was taking a trip to all the parks in the United States in his Jeep and has just moved to Florida. We follow each other on Instagram. I haven’t seen Eric post on Twitter in awhile, he’s busy I think flipping homes.

My doctor said he would NEVER prescribe insulin unless there were no other options because they were ALL taught in medical school that insulin can cause very dangerous hypos and death. This age old perspective is why doctors continue along with the current barbaric standard of care that only treats to failure. They have no personal risk following this path. Pediatric approval of Afrezza is a game changer that will send a huge message to doctors. This combined with the UTHR push for TS is significant. Some doctors will finally begin to pay attention and open their minds which they currently won't do.
IMO this will be the moment in time when the marketing dollars for awareness need to be spent whether it's with a partner or by going it alone once UTHR revenues start coming in. The limited marketing to date has obviously not been very effective because of the medical training barrier mentioned but our day is coming. Al will be proven right all along.

Akemp, I agree that the pediatric trials are an opportunity to create a significant increase in public awareness. It is also an opportunity to create life-long fans of the product when they have positive experiences. As has been mentioned many times here, previous marketing campaigns have failed to emphasize the needle-free aspect of this which is a huge benefit. I have a nephew who is T1D who started taking insulin at the age of eight. He looked up at my brother as he was being taught the routine and asked “Dad, how long do I have to do this?”. My brother had tears in his eyes when he told me how he had to look at him and say, “For the rest of your life”. Needles are a big deal for parents and their diabetic children. One of the topics I have not seen discussed much here is the prospect of the pediatric trial eventually generating a label change. Could it prove superiority? Could it remove the black box warning label that has haunted Afrezza for years? Could it remove the requirement for a spirometry test? (Does anyone think that Tyvaso DPI will require one??). While the pessimism with Afrezza follows a decade of doom and gloom storylines, I share your optimism that the pediatric trials could be the watershed event that brings Afrezza to the level of game-changing treatment that Al Mann envisioned. Thank you. They’ve all been quiet recently, especially Fenar’s YouTube. Glad to see they’re still in the game. I hope they continue to fight for afrezza and MannKind.

Can they do it though? Vdex helping couldn’t hurt the situation. Sports, I want VDEX to have Mucho Grande success! I see it as only a positive for MNKD and Afrezza! It does puzzle me that they do not have a Google Places landing page for each location with many 5 Star reviews. My little Jackson Hewitt Tax Service in Greeley Co has over 100 reviews with a 4+ Star rating. Two years ago we had 4 reviews and a 2.5 rating. I realized at that time, 2 years ago, that we needed to get going on our Google rating because I felt that our staff was the friendliest and most experienced staff in Greeley. So now I ask the staff "If you are the friendliest and most experienced taxpreparers in Greeley ask your customers to say something nice about you on Google. It worked! Google "Jackson Hewitt Tax Greeley Co" A most important lesson. When I started my work "for the man" doing IT support (I had previous run my own home-based small business), my group was encouraged to leave a business/calling card at each client computer we worked on. Prolly a nice idea if you are selling cars, no offense intended to the car salesmen reading this. But, not long after I had started, one of my colleagues in my group made a comment at one of our group meetings... "Clients will be quick to call/email any negative experience they have to [some] management." She continued with, "Whenever I have interaction with a client, I encourage them to simply send a quick email 'Thank you' to my management if they are satisfied with the service I provided them." In other words, without going over the top and begging clients to gush compliments, my colleague was brilliant with the suggestion of "just sent a thank you" if they found value in your service. Other compliments and positives invariably found their way into those "thank you's" over the years. How do I know? My colleague moved on to start a family and pursue other interests about a year after I started my job, but for the next 25 years, I always remembered and applied her words.

How is Mannkind informing random people about Afrezza?

That Instagram account is very weak. Is Vdex doing any advertising?

That Instagram account is very weak. Is Vdex doing any advertising? Vdex is also on Instagram, LinkedIn and all social media sites but where they advertise is in a 50 mile radius around each individual clinic. On Facebook locally ..also in the hospitals in the local areas. Chamber of Commerce and in businesses around the community.
