I’ve sold medicines that have helped patients with GERD, Schizophrenia, Onychomycosis (yes I had to check the spelling due to NY) Alzheimer’s, hypertension, chronic pain, and for 10 yrs diabetes. Called on Family Practice, Internist, Cardiologist, Podiatrist, and Endocrinologist in the profession. Again, take my input as somewhat informed.

He probably is not a world class salesperson. But most salespeople are "typical salespeople" so the views of a typical salesperson are worth listening to.
I don't agree with a lot of what he said but it is still useful to see this thread here.
Reality lives somewhere between this thread and the over-the-top positive threads. Hearing both extremes helps keep things centered.

Some of the greatest reps I’ve worked with in 20 yrs carried the bag for Afrezza and were fired or left. Recently they started firing great District Managers that gave 3 hard years to MannKind. Cowardess Holy crap, you're free to say whatever you like, but for the love of God, put it all in one post instead of one sentence per post! THAT'S what's likely to get you booted. Sheesh. |

I spy a disgruntled former employee who failed to meet sales goals? Fired? Told to shuffle-off? Could it be the lack of mental toughness to push the ball into the end zone only to be stuffed at the line of scrimmage, over and over? What is the motive here for the rant? To save us from ourselves? To educate the reader on what we already know? Can't be any of these so what's up? Try investing in MNKD instead of pushing pills and you might be happier. Law enforcement is hiring but it's a young man's/women's game. If you're over 40, don't bother...toss a ball in the backyard with the kids or watch them play soccer. It's safe and you won't be told "No thanks" at most offices.
