I firmly believe MNKD will sell Afrezza and maintain Technosphere as their core business. All signs pt. to this and it's going to happen next qtr.
United is buying into Techosphere as well as purchasing the Danbury mfg. to protect themselves. MNKD is buying TechnoVax (perfect match to Technosphere) where they can concentrate on inhaled vaccines including CV19. The pulmonary RXs between United and Mankind offer a vast pipeline. MNKD will absorb RLS another huge Technosphere potential = $billions. Afrezza will go to the highest bidder = Medtronic is my bet thus the presence on MNKD BOD. With all this stated it makes one ponder where Amgen is? Amgen has been in the woodpile since MC joined MNKD. They are taking a slice of the pie but what flavor and how big is the question. This has been one hell of a long drawn out process but I am fully confident that after nearly 17 yrs. holding the prize is finally at hand...maybe April Fools day which would be appropriate.

Well a counter argument might be that Mannkind recently gained some financial stability and Afrezza will be worth a LOT more if they can get it to green numbers. With Corona coming under control and Pediatric approval on the horizon, that seems a possible option to me, thus Mannkind has little to gain selling Afrezza quickly. |

Afrezza is not their future = Technosphere is. Technosphere offers practically zero overhead, licensing and royalties for a life time, endless pipelines,
and they don't even have to mfg. MNKD has shown their hand = they will not mfg. as Danbury is being sold. Would they sell it If they were committed to Afrezza? MNKD has done little to push and pull Afrezza to market...they tried and realized that Insulin is for the big boy cartels and not MNKD; Afrezza is a cash drainer. Someone big will buy Afrezza and they will pay BIG = the question is who? Will it be Amgen or Medtronic or even you know who. Kevinmik has been stating for years to divide MNKD into Afrezza and Technoshere and I've said the same damn thing. Time has arrived to show their cards as there are now too many pieces of there intentions visible to continue in their charade.

OH, I forgot to mention that MNKD/Technosphere wins two fold when Afrezza is sold as royalties will be part of the deal. Technosphere will generate revenue for MNKD even without owning Afrezza. It might be a single digit royalty but Afrezza has a bright future in the RIGHT hands.

While we are apparently dreaming, what about Crisper edited gene therapies and vaccines administered by Technosphere. So many possibilities, but they never seem to come to fruition. Maybe someday we will be pleasantly surprised but this has really been a very long road. I hope I live long enough to see my 10 year investment do well rather than just jiggle up and down daily.

What if the Marketing Dept. fashioned a HUUUUGE nose, like 18 feet tall, and a ginormous fully functional Afrezza cartridge, and had scantily clad men and women run around, then pick up the cartridge, stick it in the nostril of the enormous nose and a guy in an Evil Knievel suit is shot out of a cannon to push the cartridge in with his head, head first, sending the spray up the nostril? Now THAT would be incredible marketing.
