Seems like many here(myself included) have been waiting for "the moment" where everything goes right. I have always believed that the market is forward looking. Thus look at $UTHR stock, it has been on nothing less than a healthy dose of steroids for the better part of this year. Running into the $200+ a share.
I would like to think that our moment is coming. A quarterly report where are decade plus of dilution pays off and we turn a profit. But, there needs to be something else IMO. The staff around MC are not believers. When was the last time anyone one of them made an open market buy? Thus while they might own shares, it is through a passive investment. The true shareholders, you and I have bought high, suffered a 5:1 RS, posted on various social apps trying to get the word out. Until we see a change in the cos mentality we langish in the most unbelieveable bull market in the history of the stock market. And while I still hold my core, the opportunties outside of MNKD have helped me nearly 2x my portfolio. Stay strong, and be ready. The moment will come, but I will be damned if I am going wait here while other great opportunties are available.

After all these years does one good quarterly make it all go away? Not a chance in hell! This has only just begun. I am ready for the ride of a lifetime and its going to take a whole lot of quarters to make me go away. So keep counting.

MNKD is up over 300% compared to 100% of UTHR over the last year. Maybe you're incorporating your emotions over the life of your MNKD investment?? It's safe to say MNKD is 1000% stronger than they were 4 years ago when Mike arrived. Everything is on track and coming together nicely. |

All those buys in the midst of our BK did wonders for my cost basis. I could have bitched, I could have gotten out. But instead I bought the hell out of it. Back when I was trading SIRI for under a quarter and I got out, well I must have learned something. And here I am again with Martine as a partner. Im pretty sure this is going to be a ride of a life time God has a great sense of humor so to those of you who expect less I would say get over it or out of it.

It will never be the ride of a lifetime but it will be a good ride one that will get everybody who’s been around since 2014 whole Well... my irrational exuberance between 2014 and 2017 was pretty exuberant, so my current position would have to go up around 5-fold before I'm "whole". But at least if MNKD goes to zero right now it won't hurt me even a fraction of what those years did to me. Or what I did to myself in those years, rather. |
