MNKD has been instrumental in stagnating the PPS (intentionally) while they ramp up their product pipeline and create Afrezza sales. The mission is to offer a suitor(s) a robust down stream product roadmap of innovative RXs delivered via TS. That pipeline (TS) today contains potentially $billions of direct sales, royalty sales & licensing and great appeal to current RXs with expiring patents. MNKD will not sell without achieving their target $models but in order to do so they must prove the $expenditure warrants the price. Medtronic and Amgen are not on the BOD for giggles and beer $; they are on the BOD to represent their interests. Afrezza has a proven safety record with seven years on the market = no risk and all heavy lifting complete. Afrezza is now a niche product but in the right hands with pediatric & insurance acceptance it will sky rocket. I have NO doubt that MNKD has been orchestrating their big moves for years waiting for the proper time to "bring it all home." NO wine before its time. When United receives FDA approval in six months they have to move to protect themselves. When United moves the other "parts" will have to move too. Maybe sooner as MNKD is so obviously being manipulated on the downside to keep the PPS in check. Something(s) big HAS to give this year hopefully before the USD collapses.

Yes you said sooner back in March by the end of the second quarter. Good luck

Amgen and Medtronic aren't "on" the BOD. Every BOD member has worked somewhere else but that doesn't mean they're "representing" their former companies.

IMO, talks of forthcoming "big" announcements and potential buyouts are just noise since there's nothing of real substance to back either up. That said, Mike's performance at Lytham does offer hints there will be announcements coming. Guessing the size of such would just be wild speculation at this point. They might be small announcements with little change in the pps but let's hope one or more is significant as that could be a serious boost for this company's future and give it the attention deserved.

I realize Medtronic and Amgen are NOT on the BOD! What I am insinuating is that there is a reason for their presence and I believe it's to represent the interest of these two companies. It's not complicated.

Those are the reasons I've stayed invested in MNKD.

It's not complicated. What is Amgen and Medtronic waiting on? Why have they not bought at least 5% of the Company yet? In what way(s) would each, Amgen and Medtronic, benefit from an orphan lung disease enterprise? Has either stated they are looking for inhaled therapeutic platform?

I want an announcement with regeneron, and monoclonal antibodies.
How does it feel to want?
the words seem to go together, technosphere and regeneron.

Medtronic knows Afrezza is the perfect fit for their closed loop system and for their artificial pancreas; Medtronic pumps are highly successful thanks to Al Mann who Medtronic has not exactly forgotten. MNKD has to split into two companies. It's a certainly that Afrezza will stand alone and so will TS; that has to happen this year with United approval. Amgen wants the TS pie or 1/2 the pie with United. United has to protect themselves so their buy in is critical insurance and they need a place on the BOD. Hooper is on the board to make a deal involving Amgen. TS is a delivery system worth $billions for internal use and for licensing/royalties; TS is Amgen's target. The PPS is intentionally being stagnated for obvious reasons if the above is accurate. I can explain it to you but I can't make you understand it.

I saw this article and thought it might apply to MNKD. 10 signs your company is about to be acquired, for all the conspiracy theorists out there. 😎 www.griproom.com/fun/10-signs-your-company-is-about-to-be-acquired

So we are not going to be acquired. Which is fine with me. Recently we had 6 analysts saying that MNKD was one of their top 5 picks. (remember that I have dementia). Several brokerages loaded up on MNKD shares.
Partnership with UTHR was a huge indicator. People in MNKD were paying $$$ for shares and not waiting for free shares. etc
All of the above made me feel comfortable owning MNKD shares.
But, that's mytakeonit
And, I can't wait till I wake up several hours after market open ... to see where we are. Hopefully we are hitting $10 ... where I have 8k + 2k of my high costing shares set to sell to cover my previous gains from the other month.

"Way too long"
I've held since the IPO = 7/28/2004 which means my investment has been dead $ for nearly 17 years which makes me more than a little pissed but at least I'm still on the right side of the grass. I know business thus the predictions based on insight/experience and my MNKD DD is 17 years extensive. This has to happen this year and it will and it will be huge. I don't know where 17 years went...that is until I look into the glass. Oh well, the investment has not served my retirement but this year I get to gift "my kids."
