This out today:
"After 12 years of collaboration, Medtronic and United Therapeutics have decided to terminate the development of the Implantable System for Remodulin (ISR). This decision is based on the evolution of treatment options and paradigms for PAH patients over the past few years, coupled with the anticipated efforts required to satisfy the FDA’s conditions to its approval of the ISR, ________________________________________________________
United has TS (evolution of treatment options) and no longer needs Medtronic's pumps. Medtronic knew = the hand writing was on the wall big time! United's future and viability resides with MNKD's success. How will United safe guard their themselves from events at MNKD they have no control over which could be toxic inpediments to their goals? Poor Medtronic = 12 years of development time and $ investment flushed away with United's alignment to TS solidified by FDA submittal. What is Medtronic do to in order to create a new pipeline of technology to replace this lost potential revenue stream? Oh, MiniMed was an investment made in heaven for Medtronic. What else does Al Mann have in his legacy that might be our (Medtronic) pipeline savior? If they ponder long and hard, get a seat on the BODs @ MNKD, get embedded in their management, listen to MNKD's roadmap and have a full understanding of everything MNKD maybe, just maybe something will get their attention that's a fit in their core business. When United receives FDA approval the chess pieces will have to move fast BUT waiting for that decision might be a very, very poor decision and be very, very costly.

I was wondering how this breakup would affect the sales of T-DPI. Hoping it will be a big boost to our sales.

I was wondering how this breakup would affect the sales of T-DPI. Hoping it will be a big boost to our sales. When I saw this earlier today, I assumed that T-DPI was the reason for this along with the slow development/approval timeline for ISR.
