It sure appeared MNKD was going to sell their Danbury Mfg. on a lease back which made no sense to me unless this was the way UNITED selected as insurance to their partnership with MNKD. United's entire survival will be hinged to MNKD soon and that's risky business unless you hold something of high valve to protect yourself from events over which you have zero control. Well evidently MNKD changed their mind = no sale of Danbury. If this sale was associated with the MNKD/United partnership as I suggest than something must have changed. What could have changed? Here you simply have to use your own imagination/DD. Lots of moving parts here and rapidly increasing value with pipeline and Medicare approval of Afrezza in 2022. Who is going to pull the trigger before MNKD's true value is recognized and the lid comes off the SP? Best act soon with the SP at ~$5 vs. $50.

Couldn't it be as simple as management pursuing various paths to find money to survive the next years and with the other loan in place this was simply put on hold without any great miracles looming at the horizon!?

Yes, it could be but I "simply" look for logical business decisions that would justify such a radical maneuver.

It was put out there as one of several possible ways to raise needed funds. Turns out it wasn't needed so maybe it was just one playing card put on the table for discussion in negotiations. Glad it turned out not to be justified.

How do you know it wasn’t needed ..maybe plans haven’t changed at all.

How do you know it wasn’t needed ..maybe plans haven’t changed at all. Well they have raised about $200M since they indicated funds were needed and that the sale/lease back was a consideration. They've also announced a pediatrics plan for this fall, possibly coincidentally when revenue from UTHR is expected to start coming in. That said, you're right in that no one knows about plans behind the scenes. It sure wouldn't bother me if we found out UTHR was/is the potential buyer of the plant though IMO, I'd rather it be a dead issue as things are looking really good without the sale/lease back
