I think this is one of the first quarterly earnings calls I've experienced where the stock has gone up the day after. A lot of current and future value was conveyed and clearly communicated, even the non-cash debt extinguishment charge issue, re-stated with non-GAAP bridging. As a member said on another thread, only so many more trading days until the approval of Tyvaso DPI...so, only so many days for shorts to exit, before this might get painful for them, as it has been for us.
For the "oldies" fans out there...
This stock's worth more today than yesterday...but not as much as tomorrow...

Great thread! Need more threads like these. I'll add my congratulations to Mike, Steve and the entire team there at Mannkind. Mike has really assembled an incredible team and is executing well. Proud to own a small part of this company with Mike at the helm. It has been a long, long, long slog for the believers who have been here since well before pre-approval of Afrezza. A decade plus of waiting and watching an amazing story with too many agonizing twists and turns to recount. The finish line for profitability is in sight, but that is just the beginning. It’s not a perfect leadership team, but it’s competent and it has not always been so. I wish I had as much confidence in MNKD’s board. I think we will see one or more of the other current pipeline candidates beyond Tyvaso prove to be profitable. That said, Tyvaso DPI will take awhile to ramp up and I won’t be surprised if it is mid ‘22 before the market catches on that the Mannkind story has significantly changed. That is fine with me. I will be adding what I can before October and probably beyond. And I continue to have great faith in the potential of Technosphere. Mannkind will be seen as an inhaled drug company, not merely an inhaled insulin provider, IMO. Regards to all long time longs. Chris C |

Another congratulations is in order for the work that went into the 8k filing with UTHR today! Even our aged believes it is such a good deal for Mannkind that when the drug takes off UTHR will have to attempt to renegotiate the contract!

Yes..exactly, most people would not admit how bad things were or they were in complete denial when sweedee and I would tell them the stock was circling the drain. Truly you wake up one morning and you think ..oh my God we WERE dancing on the deck of the titanic. We’ve been dipping up and down in choppy water making the slow turn.
