This is interesting - a Health Care Provider page to Learn how to switch your patients to Afrezza. There's titration/dosing info with an injected-to-Afrezza conversion table and a downloadable dosing worksheet. There's also a Get-Support button to get Providers in touch with their Field Rep and get free samples. afrezzahcp.com/#myModal

But it should have been done years ago. Hopefully we will finally need to be thanking MC for growing Afrezza revenue/profit in the not overly-distant future.

AFREZZA® DOSING PER MEAL Work with your doctor to determine the dosing regimen that’s right for you, then record it here.
I’m sorry but is this supposed to help anyone?

AFREZZA® DOSING PER MEAL Work with your doctor to determine the dosing regimen that’s right for you, then record it here. I’m sorry but is this supposed to help anyone? I had to look around after I clicked the link afrezzahcp.com/#myModalWhen I compare it to VDEX, it looks good. dosing: www.seventhform.com/vdexdownloads/vdex-whitepaper-072817.pdf page 22. Comments Afrezza’s speed of action is both a blessing and a curse. Clearly, it is a large factor in the safety of the product, but for longer meals, you may need more Afrezza to keep the post prandial levels in check. We recommend follow-on doses. For example, we advise with a standard meal to dose Afrezza 15-20 minutes after the start of the meal, and then another dose of the same size about 45 minutes later. With very long meals, we have even advised patients to administer two follow-on doses, for very tight control. I think it looks helpful.

sports, are you referring to the link I provided? If so, I'm not sure where you are finding that at. It's not as good on a phone as a computer (it never is), but you should still see the "Learn how to switch your patients to Afrezza" button. If you do, click that. Also, especially for you and Vdex, click the "Request support to get patients started" button. I know, Vdex doesn't need that, but it's good to know it is there. Also the top button "See the defining features of Afrezza" is interesting. They mention monomeric (I think that's the first time I have seen Mannkind advertise that).
I hope that helps.

I will say this. See the anticipated dose (units) after titration That is an add on I have never seen before and it makes sense. Here is my thinking, right or wrong. Type 1 hasn't had a phase 1 or first phase insulin hit to the liver in a long time. My thinking is over time, titration, the liver gets used to it and a slightly higher dose is suggested.
