"The SEC will not grant confidential treatment to information that is material." "A matter is material if a reasonable person would consider it important."
UPDATED GUIDANCE ON CONFIDENTIAL TREATMENT IN SEC FILINGS - In March 2019, the SEC adopted amendments to Regulation S-K which lays out reporting requirements. Among other changes, the amendments allow companies to redact confidential information from most exhibits without filing a confidential treatment request (“CTR”), including omitting schedules and exhibits to exhibits. Likewise, the amendments allow a company to redact information that is both (i) not material, and (ii) competitively harmful if disclosed without the need for a confidential treatment request.
Hopefully something new transpires soon.

Remember defined: Something that is know or "experienced" in the past.
So therefore I do not have to have known it's contents just experienced that it occurred.
Similar defined: resembling without being identical So therefore two documents that are confidential do not have to be identical to be similar. They are therefore similar because they are both categorized as confidential.

Akemp,
If I read your post correctly there is nothing of import to the material the CRL is tied to..........
Yet.

I’m a glass half full kind of person.
If MNKD and UT think it’s a competitive advantage to keep some things confidential (according to SEC rules), then I trust they are making the best decision for the companies and by default, for the shareholders.

Akemp, If I read your post correctly there is nothing of import to the material the CRL is tied to.......... Yet. The post was in reference to the discussion about the confidential treatment disclosure which to me was simply standard legal procedure and to the best of public knowledge, insignificant. I do like the reference to the CRL and the close..."yet".
