Not sure why the feed on the FTD list has not been updated since 9/30/2014 I know that one can go into the SEC site and pull the data but its more complicated than I can do. Here is the link for the exact site and if you can update this it would be appreciated. www.sec.gov/foia/docs/failsdata-archive.htmWe are missing Oct and November data: 2014 November 2014, second half November 2014, first half October 2014, second half October 2014, first half

If I get time Id like to take those numbers and also show total volume that day. I looked at a few just to check, looks like roughly 10% of all shares traded on a given day are failing to deliver. Want to know how they are covering with decreasing price? That's how.
Wouldn't it be something if the vast majority of short interest are naked and don't even exist? Or is that not possible with some check and balance?

OOG - this is really hard to say esp. for a novice like myself. Wat I do know is figures don't lie, but liars figure.. T he DEF14A IMHO is a bit of a muse - Showing Al Mann with 40% ownership and Mann Trust and Group 12 & 23% respectively (35%). Now some say the 35% is part of Mann's 40% where others believe they are separate - totaling an astonishing 75%!! I emailed IR & M. Pfeiffer for clarification w/no response so I can't say. Conservatively if we look at Insider holding ~45% + institution ownership ~23% + short interest ~30% this is darn close to 100%!! This isn't counting shares from individuals or whomever (SNY MDT?). I had wanted to do some data analysis on MNKD trades and ownership. The historical data for trades can be purchased but more than I'm willing/able to spend. (~$2K). Fairly real-time ownership can be had from ThompsonOne but from what I can tell access is limited - only freebee being Harvard/MIT Sloan etc. business schools - so out of luck there. SNS - this is an excellent article however I believe part fo the reason it got rejected is that it contained personal affronts to SA-type demigods. It's OK for them to say MND is in bed with crooks but not the other way. IMO you are 100% right - this is far more a matter of national security than ISIS, Taliban or even gay marriage (no slander intended, but pun on what media portrays as important) Perhaps if you made it less personal & more 'consider the facts' it would fly. However big $$ is at the helm and we have little control. But IMHO this doesn't have to be. According to CNN FTD amounts to about $200 BILLION a day in sept 2011!!! If our (cough) "representative government" simply levied a 10% penalty for FTD this would pay of much of our country's debt! (~6 Trillion annual). It doesn't seem hard that imagine a crowdfunding campaign couldn't be created to: A - raise public awareness & hold SEC WH accountable B - fund/file class-action lawsuits against the likes of Crammer and Fraudstein (nothing personal against them or their names, just more fun pun) Collectively this group could easily compile enough compelling evidence to present a strong case many law firms would LOVE to handle. Thoughts?

I have always figured that there was after Institutional and Mann affiliated holdings about 120,000 shares available of which 80,000,000 are controlled by shorts. so there are really only 40,000,000 shares that we longs and others hold. How many shares are truly fake or Naked?

From what I've read (to date) the only way to determine how many shares are currently owned is data from ThomsonOne. I have no idea why this isn't more widely available from NASDAQ or SEC or perhaps even query individual brokerages.
The notion that a public company not knowing who owns their shares seems a bit bizarre...

How high can this number go before 'something' happens?
Wasn't a firm and trader group recently sanctioned for doing this for many companies (including MNKD)? You would think that would scare someone? Guess not...

Who needs visual evidence of how naked shorting has affected? $MNKD #Manipulation
