As we all know FDA approval is knocking on the door and increased money flow seems inevitable. I would love to see a national ad showcasing a compelling, dramatic, unprecedented, authentic NEW product. Even though Afrezza is going on 7+ years of approval the 'users' can talk about how they found out about it (new and old users) and what it has meant to them. This will work because, as we all know, the awareness of Afrezza for diabetics is still very low. I believe one of the keys to a great story is putting the viewer in a position of imagining that they are actually that person -they can relate to the same the emotions/feelings that person is going through. A strong beginning, middle, and end. The problem, the discovery, and the solution/outcome. Really putting yourself in the shoes of the consumer. From what we have all seen, I'm absolutely sure Afrezza has completely changed people's lives. Would love to see non-diabetics get this same relatable feeling inside that they start telling diabetics they know in real life about it. How many diabetic commercials are being run constantly on TV ? When they are blasted constantly at us we remember them, but once they stop airing we tend to forget about them, even the catchy tunes and the lawnmower dude

The FDA would never allow MannKind to advertise in the way Balance of Nature is doing. And even if it would, you'd still have a problem telling a story with a beginning, middle, and end in 30 seconds, which is all you'd have because of all the warnings the FDA requires for a drug with a black box handicap. Furthermore, even if patients still wanted to try Afrezza they'd have to convince their doctors and their insurance companies. All that said, it still might be worth trying TV commercials, but you'd need to spend big bucks to run them so many times that the message would start to sink in after people had seen them at least seven or eight times. www.consumerfraudreporting.org/Balance-of-Nature.phpWe rate this product a scam based on:
GROSSLY exaggerated CLAIMS - The testimonial claims are subjective, exaggerated and not verifiable
Expensive, grossly over-priced for freeze-dried vegetables and fruit
Fresh fruit and vegetables are better
The FDA sent them a letter demanding they cease making medical claims;
The Better Business Bureau "D" rating

Once FDA approval hits lets get the approved commercial running again on cable. When things get rolling lets put some big bucks down for Afrezza.

Hey, maybe if we got Dr. Howard to replace MC then MNKD wouldn't have to rest so much all the time.

My guess is that new TV advertising is pending pediatric approval which could greatly improve the language of the advertisement. Doctors everywhere could finally understand the safety. MC has also hinted at a global partner for Afrezza. Wishful thinking would be that these two events combine for great new advertisements. Further optimism would have a strong UTHR TV commercial running simultaneously.

ECT .. getting the financing.. they run continuously.. are the margins on their products That great / it pays to advertise, but these are small companies in the scheme of things . We can’t do better ? It is pretty shocking how much venture money is around if you can tell the correct story especially in the diet space. The diabetes space is also compelling but speaking from experience they always want to bring in their diabetes experts who are not from the Al Mann school of diabetes. I closed my portfolio and walked out on the last one of these I went to and my partner still thought they were going to fund us. BTW - I don't think many of these companies are making money, "yet". GoLo last year was running non-stop commercials talking glucose spikes/diabetes until the FDA whacked them. Their current commercials are much different and diet focused. Here is the thing with afrezza. There are numerous but sperate markets which can be targeted. IMO, the biggest one is in the "diet" space. ProBeat I think is on the correct path. If afrezza was added to the mix these guys might have a real winner. The Josil twist is nice and exercise is OK but the one thing which will reduce BG is insulin. Take proBeat and mix it with VDex and there is probably a winner there. So what does afrezza want to be went it grows up: a T1 rescue therapy; Step 1 for T2s: an ultra RAA for T1's; a dietary supplement for the general public? As soon as we have non-invasive CGMs I think its biggest market is as a dietary supplement especially if they can sell it without a prescription. But, even as an RX with Telemedicine and the diet coaching this should not be a huge deal.

With peds approval, ads could be run on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. Huge, influential viewership - kids, parents and grandparents.

Please no ads until we figure out how to better get proper dosing protocol to the patients. Otherwise we risk having PWDs start on Afrezza only to give up prematurely. Every time that happens we’ve lost another customer forever.

One bad or even sub-optimal experience regarding things like health and that customer will never return. Gaining new customers is fruitless if you can't retain them.
