We can’t get dosing right on main st USA , you want it figured out With bombs dropping in a full blown war ! Come on ! They would do fine if told to double their current mealtime dose to Afrezza units, and Just Inhale. Then, a 15 to 30 minute BG check and follow up dose if needed. |

If I remember correctly, MNKD donated afrezza and got it shipped out of Florida to Puerto Rico when they had that big hurricane a few years back. I don't think they refrigerated it. The logistics with Ukraine could be pretty challenging. You couldn't even air drop it out the back of a C130 without invading the air space which Russia would probably take as a U.S. invasion. Puerto Rico and UKRAINE are 2 different situations. The Ukraine Gov't will have to approve Afrezza. PR is part of the US so that was an easy solution. Ukraine is totally different. There is no way MNKD will get it approved. I would think that a war were essential items are desperately needed would trump a long bureaucratic process of having to worry about Afrezza getting approval. 7+ years and counting, no adverse affects, nor major problems with current users. One only look to YouTube and past/present users. Sad to say it like this but, "Afrezza, the war time insulin". Everyone here knows about the it's unique profile, with Ukraine having difficulties of keeping a constant electrical supply, diabetics are in a dire situation. Mike step the fuck up! |

It might be a very welcome humanitarian aid and I feel bad to be self-serving, but it might also make the news and put MNKD on the map for 15 minutes. Might also help speed up EU approval(s).
