Does anyone know how this gets sold? There is an institutional kit and a maintenance kit. What does that mean?

OK - but what is an Institutional kit? Do the UTHR sale reps sell to hospitals? Do patients then get a script and get a maintenance kit at their local CVS?

OK - but what is an Institutional kit? Do the UTHR sale reps sell to hospitals? Do patients then get a script and get a maintenance kit at their local CVS? They use the same “Institutional” language with nebulized Tyvaso. It’s likely to maintain familiarity with prescribers. Also, take note, we have 3 kits. A titration kit, a maintenance kit (both self explainatory), and an institutional kit (likely for hospitals and clinics).

I have looked at the expected conversion rates that UTHR is talking about. I am wondering if they are not pushing for higher conversion rates so they can burn their stockpile of traditional Tyvaso while they build manufacturing capacity to match demand for DPI. They also need to wind the old manufacturing and shift those personnel to the new lines so they don't have to let go of a lot of workers.
