Doubt we will see this buying opportunity much longer, IMO. There is a clear path to profitability and then a $6 stock price, IMO

You remind me of one of Buffett's sayings. It's so true. It goes: "The market can stay irrational long than you can stay solvent." I fully expect that to be the case with Mannkind. That's why I'm long shares instead of calls this time.

I am a buyer and will continue to buy for as long as the price is below my average and I sense weakness in the stock price.

I take it back a little. If leaps come down some I might nibble at em with my $500/month mad money funds. Some bargains can’t be ignored. 😁

Nate says it's buy under 10 and a strong buy under 5 (yes, yes I know it has been years now), BUT perhaps he should add a proviso that it is a Screaming Buy at or near 4. If the Wall Streeters take it down under 3.50 (and of course they can.... they easily have the means and the power), ...... well Under 3.50 I'm taking out a new mortgage on my paid-off house. Guess what I would do with those Proceeds?

I agree that it is a screaming buying opportunity. The question I keep grappling with is when am I going to stop buying? This stock is now almost as close as a person gets to a solid investment, barring some unimaginable black swan event, in which case none of it matters anyway. I figure I've been investing in MNKD for over a decade, and the person who invited me to this board many years ago is no longer an investor. Weak hands? But, we've all heard the admonition that pigs get slaughtered, so that gives me a little pause; yet even with it's current profile, it's not an investment I would bet the house on. I figure until it breaks out (who knows when?) the bottom feeders who have been jacking it around for years will still try to get their last profits. As it moves out of penny stock territory, they will eventually move on to shooting other fish in other barrels. Maybe that's why they are so intent at keeping it under $5, they've grown fond of having a sure return at the expense of unwary investors (traders?) looking for quick riches.

That would just about take us back (adjusting for the reverse split) to the level of this previous buying opportunity: mnkd.proboards.com/thread/5581/buying-opportunity-hold
