Cretin, What is there to tell you, other than the fact they dropped their efforts to develop such a product! Here is a link to their pipeline of drugs they are working on. There is no mention of anything being done with epinephrine. They dropped this effort about two years ago! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! mannkindcorp.com/pipeline/Hoping, can you please provide a link backing up your claim about the fda requiring an epi pen? If not then it probably didn't happen. (Nothing personal. That's just how the internet works. ) There is no question that mnkd gave up on epinephrine. MNKD did drop their effort, as a result of FDA requirements for the product, but I think we will see it re-emerge in the future

I started another thread on this awhile back, perhaps you missed it? mnkd.proboards.com/post/260952/threadI also combined the thread for ARS Pharmaceutical under the SPRY thread as the ticker is SPRY and not ARS.

I always wondered about this. How do you properly inhale if you are going into shock? With the nasal spray they just spray it up the nose.
uvula said awhile back he was frustrated nothing has happened with this and it never went forward. I have been frustrated for years nothing was ever done with Saxenda and then we have the weight-loss boom.

MNKD's previous CMO (forgot his name) mentioned this during a presentation. When MNKD was considering EPI HALE he said when the person realizes they are having an allergic reaction which is about 20 minutes they will have time to INHALE. Not sure why Mike killed the R&D....

MNKD had epinephrine up for a partner sale for years, shown in quarterly earning presentations.... no partner stepped in. Epinephrine used to be shown on the products list. MNKD Epinephrine needed to be FDA approved secondary to the powder formation and approval for the inhaler.... a two part FDA approval. That was my understanding. ? sayhey24. ? was that the case?

I believe that was Ray Urbanski. And i think he even partnered us with someone (Locust Walk?) specifically to commercialize Technosphere Epinephrine and potentially other products. As you said, there is typically plenty of time for a person to realize the dose is needed and effectively prevent shock from occurring. That was around the time Mike came on board, not sure what happened to it after that.

You might find the answer your looking for by googling a company called AQST. Google their June 15, 2022 article and later this year AQST will be doing head to head trials with epi pen. MannKind may not want to get into this area trying to crack another age old current “ standard of care”. AQST currently are in a legal battle and have been waiting for a response from the FDA for over 7 months that’s late as of now. Peppy, you will love their charts and graphs😉 I have been in AQST for over 4 years and was wondering about this legal battle? I haven't read about this one. Do you have a link to it? TIA
