www.nytimes.com/2006/12/23/business/23family.htmlIt is a turn of phrase with a long tradition, spun from corporate boardrooms in all seeming sincerity — no winks, no nods — just the sober announcement.
“Dear shareholder and John Q. Public: our trusted executive is resigning to spend more time with family.”
Sometimes it is actually true. The family tug is strong, especially this time of year. But with large severance packages and corporate images frequently at stake, more often than not the phrase is part of a carefully scripted termination agreement, filled with nondisparagement and confidentiality clauses.
The executive agrees to such terms readily after having been fired or quitting under a cloud. In extreme cases, the phrase is even trotted out in the midst of an investigation into criminal activity.
“There are two code expressions: One is the ‘spending more time with your family’ line and the other is ‘leaving to pursue other interests,’ ” said Hal Reiter, chairman and chief executive of Herbert Mines Associates, an executive recruiting firm in New York. “But who are they kidding?”

Nothing has worked...well, all agreed? According to Mike, we need 12 - 18 months to complete all our clinical trials. Then, hopefully with "Superior" label and marketing materials, we probably are going to want to partner with a BP again. That would be a reason to jump ship. If we're speculating.

Galindo left because he got tired of being greeted in the morning with ... "Howz it going A. G. !!!"
Or as I assume ... he finished with the set up and he felt that he didn't need to watch the paint dry. He made $$$ and has shares ... now he can look for other more interesting projects.
But, that's mytakeonit

I have to say...we are some very interesting folks filled with guesses and a few guesses disguised as facts.
Fact: A.G. left the building. Fiction: Fill in the blank________.
Consensus - Nothing has worked and Afrezza growth is slowly increasing. Hmmm.

Someone on ST just posted that they asked, and was told he left for a CEO position at a company that doesn’t compete with Afrezza.
Just goes to show how many folks on here try to look for the negative in literally everything.

Was this guy the architect of the $6M "Seeing is Believing" campaign which was an epic fail? Has anybody seen the "Seeing is Believing" campaign? $6M is a Hell of a lot of money for a 4-month campaign! Getting a bit nervous about what is going on behind the curtain so to say. So many expensive missteps that burn up capital without any meaningful results. TicToc time goes on.....

So if he’s so great and was doing tremendous work with Mike, and then was poached as a CEO, then it is still a negative for MannKind.
