Some traders purchase on breaking news of insider management buy-ins. This one is large. Who would know more about the near-term future than a manufacturing executive who has to prepare in advance for an increase in production. It could be quite interesting to see how this along with the forthcoming call affects the pps today.

I’m not so sure he bought anything. I sense he was recruited for this position and the restricted stock grants are just part of the package. The form 4 indicates the cost of his shares as zero. I certainly wouldn’t call it a sign-on bonus as he probably won’t have any of these shares vested for at least a year and is most likely to be spread out over a 3-5 year period, which drives retention. |

Are you speculating the Singh hire has to do with the India study and Cipla? I think its more of a coincidence but we will see. The India study should be done and I would expect the results to mimic the 175 study. Maybe we hear Tuesday. Maybe this is the reason for the 9am call and not after hours. Maybe not, we will see. I will take any good news. This really doesn't matter, but I believe that sign-on bonuses are not typically given when you sign on. They are actually distributed 3, 6, 9, or 12 months or so AFTER signing on ... for the reason(s) you mentioned. |

Im leaning with the proper credentials in manufacturing which were going to be doing a lot more of, as Peds and CIPLA Trials wrap up. CIPLA connection is the bonus round.
