I just saw a TV commercial for Livongo diabetes cgm with coaching service.
A few years ago mnkd partnered with a similar sounding company, maybe Living One? I did a quick Google search and couldn't find anything. What was the company and what ever happened with this? Thank you
Update: I think they just offer a glucose meter, not a cgm.

Yes. One Drop. I was way off. I looked at the One drop website and there is no mention of afrezza. Does anyone know what happened with this deal?
("One drop" is such a common phrase that it is difficult to do a meaningful web search.)

Best I recall is the One Drop CEO was a strong proponent of Afrezza. Some here suggested the two should merge or partner and take on the industry while others countered that a CGM company would not be smart to limit their relationship to only one supplier which would effectively remove them from the big pie target audience. I don't think anything happened beyond that. Maybe others will recall more detail.

One Drop offers an app and a bluetooth connected glucose meter and supplies kit. So far, they do not have a CGM. But it appears they might be developing a CGM. onedrop.today

The CEO freaked out on Twitter and blocked anybody that was talking about Afrezza!! I’m really careful about that. I try not to annoy people, but I saw it all happen.

Wondering if he was concerned the Twitter volume might give the appearance they were too closely aligned with one supplier which could affect their relationships with all the other suppliers? If so, that makes sense. If something else, that would be interesting also. Of course, a conspiracy theory would be that BP stepped in and paid One Drop to back off that relationship

Note: Livongo was bought out by Teledoc a few years ago. I was actually in LVGO at the time, I did great on it (the investment was suggested by a friend of mine who ran senior care residences in CA and was impressed by the tech) but then I held my TDOC shares after the acquisition and got killed on them.

I spoke with Dachis back in the day after he showed up at the MNKD shareholders meeting. I really thought he wanted to leverage afrezza but it was clear he had no real interest in switching his service to leverage CGM technology nor afrezza. All he seemed interested in doing was selling his chrome glucose meter. It is a really pretty meter. I have no idea what was going on with Twitter. I am surprised so many were bugging him about afrezza but he sure seemed interested at the shareholder meeting. I was under the impression he never used afrezza. He talked about trying it but I did not think he ever was a user. Maybe that's why he shut down the twitter chatter. Its kind of funny Livongo seems to be nearly the same service based on their website as One Drop "When you enroll in Livongo for Diabetes, you'll get a connected blood glucose meter that offers automatic data uploading" I will say Dachis' meter is prettier.

Geez, I have to apologize. I thought the thread was actually about LVGO but when I posted the above I had not actually read through the thread. Clearly no one cares about Livongo. Sigh.

It is/was a sleek chrome design. Their claim to fame was a monthly subscription for UNLIMITED Test Strips plus other plans and great customer service to help you manage your BG. I believe Mike wanted to partner with One Drop to gain access to their customer list. IMO Mike wanted to market Afrezza to OD's Base which would have been great in the beginning but OD didn't go for it.
