How many times earnings are we trading at? What’s the multiple for biotech stocks? Fair question if you're asking about the average BP. MNKD ain't it. Ask the first question again in a few more years.
I don't know of a definitive authoritative answer for the 2nd question, but when I've researched this in the past the ratios were anywhere from 25:1 to 70:1 with around 40:1 being the "average" (but don't remember if that was mean, median, or mode). I don't lament that MNKD isn't selling based on an EPS and P/E. I look forward to it. It hasn't looked this promising since 2014.

Oh, I think it’s a very fair question. I also don’t believe we have to be profitable because we’re a growth company. But also that we will be soon! I’m just not sure because of market conditions... I think at one point it was 17 times. I don’t believe biotech companies have got cut in half like tech companies have.

Mike, Thanks for tuning out the noise, keeping the focus on the Mannkind, and building a successful company. And while tuning out the noise lets focus on a few things 1. Don't drop the ball on 2024 Medicare formulary. Bid packages go out in March and form "inhaled" needs to be included so we don't need pre auths in 2024 2. With afrezza now being breakeven, lets make sure V-Go is breakeven by year end so we make our #1 board mandate 3. The pump switch pilot is a good start but lets get a T2 pilot with Mounjaro/Ozempic(Novo Nordisk) 4. If your excitement with icodec(Novo Nordisk) is for the T2 market, lets get an NDA in place with Novo Nordisk and get a A1c pilot going with icodec. 5. Lets get something going with Lane Desborough and "Nudge" along a study for afrezza-R and one for afrezza-T3 for submission to MIDD. 6. If Robert Ford has not called yet lets make sure we have him on speed dial and see if we can do a deal for T2 "Treat to Target". Robert is waiting on Medicare basal coverage for CGMs and there is no need to waiting with $35 afrezza now covered.

prcgorman2, Can we compromise? How about 5x THIS year and then 2x each year for 3-4 years? Deal! That would put us back on track. Share price $200 by 2026. Then a thread like this would be appropriate! 😄 But there'd be no one left to post here, we'd all be catching rays on our private islands.

I’ve listened to the RBC chat about 5 times now and I take away something new and exciting every time. Mike shares enough history to clarify a lot for us longtime holders. Fantastic questions from RBC. I love the excitement that’s beginning again for Afrezza. We have 3 big trials in the next 12 months that’ll show once and for all what we can do. Great job Mike!

This guy was asking the hard questions and making lite of nothing. Made the entire presentation that much more professional. Mike came off as pure business with answers to match. Its the first time I have heard Mike sound like a battle hardened CEO from beginning to end very confident.

Looks like Mike remains on the path to accomplish the Board's mandate to have the EBU CFBE by the end of this year, early next year. I'm glad to live in a meritocracy where rewards for your hard work are the incentive to excel and achieve rather than by those who feel they only need to show up and expect the same riches and rewards.

I still can’t believe it. I remember Matt and others talking about how MannKind was doomed for bankruptcy, and now we’re about to be CFBE. Truly an incredible come back story. And to make it even more insane is we’re doing it after having gone through a reverse split which many companies just don’t do well after RS. Everyone should be pumped!
