Observation:
Mike said last year when asked about the Convertible Debt Deal he expected the SHORTS (ie C-Holders) to short the stock. The C Holders are allowed to short shares because technically they have ownership so they can short or loan the shares. The stock tanked to $0.87 and has recovered.
The question is......will the SHORTS cover around $5.21? Is that why MNKD is hovering around the strike price??
Once MNKD shows eventual profitability will this be the end of the SHORTS? Out of the 35MM in short interest I would assume the majority of shares are tied to the convertible deal. So once MNKD stays above the strike price the short count should drop.
Comments?

Comments? The shorts will cover at $5.90, MNKD is only .66 cents away....65........64. Volume will come in heavy at $5.92. It is a set up. I am keeping my eye on the ball. Scroll back on Aged comments about a month ago, Anderson said the price is $5.21, Aged talked about the time frame to exercise.

On the street there will always be people betting the stock will go up and people betting the stock will go down. Years ago we had a situation which appeared to be a deliberate attempt to bankrupt the company. I think those days are behind us.
You will never "end the SHORTS". They are part of life. What MNKD can do is increase sales and get profitable. When that happens everything else will take care of itself.

As you know, because the market either continues or reverses trends, so the bet is on the trends current direction. Similar to me buying bull/bear ETFs - LABU/LABD, GUSH/DRIP, YINN/YANG, NUGT/DUST, etc. based on the trends and what the existing technicals reveal (Momentum, Volatility, Money Flow, overbought/oversold), news, macro-events, etc. That's one way I make my bank.

There is no magical or mystical share price, as you said when those good things happen “everything else will take care of itself.”

But we do know that MNKD had over 5.5M FTD last year alone, and I'm thinking its alot less now than in prior years because MNKD is on a better path than before.
