I don't think "the market" is singling out little ol' MNKD. Check the Pharma ETFs... PPH and IHE are green... When I checked last week all 3 of the major Pharma ETFs were down for the last month. What timeframe did you use? 1 day?

Uh, the timeframe of when she was announced as COO since we're in that thread and BD talked about the market response to that hire. Not sure why you would arbitrarily use last month as a timeframe.

Because short timeframes are not very useful as an indicator of "the market" trends.

Because short timeframes are not very useful as an indicator of "the market" trends. The discussion isn’t about market trends, it’s about a response to material news/events like the hire of a COO. Besides, if you really want to compare, some ETFs are positive, some have lost maybe a few percent in the last month. MannKind is down 25%.

I assume you are not trying to assert MNKD is down 25% because of a new COO hire. And I notice you said "some ETFs", not "Pharma ETFs". I can go back and look for the performance again, but I think we both know what it will show. And my point is it has been a down market generally. Yes, MNKD is significantly further down, and I have opinions about why that is, but since it isn't germane to the COO hire, I'll leave that for the "Is naked short selling happening currently to MNKD ?" thread.

Of course pharma ETFs, stop trying with these “gotchas”. Check out PPH for example. You’re the one that brought up overall market trends into this discussion.

Give it a month and I suppose we will be able to hail it a "hero hire". Awesomo will be so pleased to see us beating the averages .

Might be a good fund.

ACOR market cap is now down to 10.95M. What would be a buyout premium on this one?

ACOR market cap is now down to 10.95M. What would be a buyout premium on this one? Why would someone want this? And if they do, why would you pay a premium for a company in a death spiral?
