Historically, MNKD does not use shareholder meetings and earnings reports to break news and it's not a common practice generally. Also, not much of a "beat down", and the sector is down, as is UTHR. Just consider it an "inside day".

No breaking news announced in asm. Here comes the beat down on sp. The earnings call is where you announce breaking news because the analysts are there. The AGM is about conducting company business so they are low profile affairs for the most part.

All the more reason for us to be there in person to get a better sense of what’s going on ! And I “know “ they aren’t going to tell you anything confidential. But they do help you understand things in afterward conversations

But they do help you understand things in afterward conversations I agree Lenny. I feel this ASM should’ve been held with shareholders allowed to attend in person. The last such time was four years ago in New York City. There is so much nuance to pick up on by being in the room.

I thought the AGM was more of a social event where there are drinks the night before the meeting and then some informal discussions with management and other shareholders after the 10 minute "formal" non-event. I think Mike got the message and it will be back in Danbury next year.

But they do help you understand things in afterward conversations I could see why some companies would choose not to have in person ASM, and it’s in fact a growing trend now to have them virtually. MannKind though is different since it has a cult-like following. The shareholders are extremely engaged, and discuss all things MannKind on a daily basis here on PB. When you have shareholders this involved you kind of owe it to them to have a chance to attend the ASM.
