If / When MNKD starts receiving royalty payments quarterly ... it is normal for the company to pass some on to shareholders at some point. But, that's mytakeonit I don't believe thats how it works my friend ! Either the stock pays dividends or it doesn't. But you would think PPS would go up.... My corporate finance professor spent a semester on teaching how to estimate "the cost of capital" and it began with the premise that companies, eventually, pay dividends because share price growth is finite and investors demand a return on their investment and if it can't happen with share price increase, then it must happen with dividends.

I'd like to know where your claim that Mike said Afrezza is "already break-even" came from prcgorman2 . Seems like a pretty important thing to highlight that I would be happy to acknowledge. Or just say that you spread misinformation. I skipped looking at your link to a transcript on MF given the whole "rest and grow" misinformation fiasco from a bad transcript.
Instead I listened to the earnings call (which before I had just read a transcript). I recall that Mike's statement was regarding "the board" (of directors) providing guidance on the Endocrine Business Unit (EBU) having a goal of needing to be profitable by year end and that Mike said "Afrezza was already profitable" (or words to that effect), and I might have missed it in the Q4 earnings report (I was multitasking) but I think now it must've been either the SVB or other conference from this year. I'll go check those and if someone else remembers sooner and can provide a pointer that will be appreciated.
I found this from Clement regarding what Mike said during the SVB Conference: mnkd.proboards.com/thread/13670/annual-2023?page=10"... we have kinda taken the board's feedback and kinda mandated that the diabetes business is gonna track to CFBE by the end of this year."
Which is a such a far cry from what you claimed that "Afrezza is already breakeven". It's not even in the same ballpark. So please refrain from spreading misinformation that you "may or may not have heard" from someplace you don't know.

All these posts urging awesomo to sell were so persuasive, I was about to pull the trigger but gorman you talked me off the ledge. Not epic (so we can’t accuse you of exaggerating) but “almost miraculous” that we are here, plus “pretty remarkable” Afrezza script growth at 800 TRx in year nine. I guess if we can keep saying “30% year over year” that is comforting. All this and we can still buy shares under $0.80 RS adjusted. Heck no I’m not selling! Oh, thank God🤣 Really it’s total bad karma ..nobody should ever tell somebody else to sell their shares or be so presumptuous and assuming… I’m holding tight to mine.. I trust my boss🌦️🌤️☀️

MNKD shareholder meeting is set for May 25th ... make your vote count by May 24th. But, that's mytakeonit BTW, isn't it interesting that today's posts seem to have brought out the obvious shorts ... like a lightbulb brings out termites. Must be edging closer and closer to becoming profitable (or finally break even) for them if the entered their positions when the stock was under $3. Many are still trapped. A coordinated push here and other SM platforms today. Must be the smell of green.

I haven’t noticed any shorts here, been looking for them in vain! It's been a long standing tradition here for people to make false ad hominem attacks when they feel they are losing an argument. Would be nice if there were some sort of rules against name calling.

Though with repurchases of shares there really isn't a limit of how high share price can propelled. Though I think a bit premature to be contemplating that or dividends for MNKD. Hopefully the pipeline is worth investing in for some years to come.

LOL @dividends for MNKD. Just not seeing it in the near future. 33 year old company, profitability this year or next. Is that “near future”? I’m not saying this year or next is when dividends will be paid. I’m just saying MTOI isn’t wrong that lots of shares should someday pay good dividends. When is “someday”? Don’t know. Not worried about it.

So please refrain from spreading misinformation that you "may or may not have heard" from someplace you don't know. What comprises the "diabetes business"? We currently have afrezza and V-Go which was put in the sales reps "bags" in January. If you go back an listen to a few other past calls Mike was talking about Tyvaso DPI and since it is now covering some of the factory costs afrezza was now break even. Whether that is true IDK. What I do know for sure is Tyvaso DPI is covering some of the factory costs. Lets assume Mike is correct and afrezza is breakeven. For the "diabetes business" to be breakeven V-Go will also need to join the club. Since MNKD bought V-Go a major change happened - Medicare $35 insulin. This is a game changer for afrezza if they can leverage the opportunity. CGMs are also being covered for insulin treated patients. Prior V-Go was the lead into the Medicare business which is about 50% of the T2 market but most on antiglycemics and not subq insulin.

I hold on to it hoping one day I see my shares go up in value and eventually sell for 5 times today's value. Hopefully I live that long. I want the company to survive and thrive.
