5000 share transaction purchased on July 31, 2019 for $.95 under the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. 4468 share transaction purchased on January 31, 2020 for $.95 under the same ESPP. 532 share transaction acquired as part of 25,000 shares of Restricted Stock Unit acquired at $1.77.
All chump change for Mike. He has a desire and a compelling incentives to sell this at higher share prices. This begs the question, why didn't he sell when the SP was in the 5's? Maybe part of a pre-planned transaction? The month of May seems to be a big month for stock transactions, likely connected to the Annual Shareholder Meeting approvals.

It is indeed pre-planned under Rule 10b5-1 So much for "the timing doesn't look good".

To the contrary, mymann is correct about the timing. While we know the sale was pre-planned and the amount is inconsequential in the scheme of things, the fact remains the timing doesn’t look good.

Huh? The timing was determined months or years ago. In the past. Perhaps it cannot be changed even if so desired. Congratulations on finding the negative, even if not true, in something that is not negative whatsoever. You seem to have a congenital urge to throw shade on everything positive about MNKD.

When does the timing ever look good? Assigning some sort of "right or wrong" to a buy/sale transaction is for pumpers and shorts. I reported the date of the transactions and the purchase price, along with the circumstances when they were acquired. That's all that matters. The sale of shares by insiders, along with dilution, are the biggest stories that shorts promulgate around stock investing and neither dilution or sales ever "look good" to them. Its garden variety short conversation, just as "buying shares" is for pumpers. The connotation of good or bad around the transactions typically make for water cooler talk as rarely do they ever equate to anything meaningful except for a distant and forgotten chapter in most companies growth/decline trajectories.

How about buying 30000 shares with his own money to show us share holders some love?
