".... the royalties to MNKD were 6.0% of UT's Tyvaso revenue.".
This contradicts the low double digit royalty that we've all been told.

No dh4... total tyvaso is not only tyvaso dpi... mnkd have low double digit obviously only on the dpi version and United did not told us exactely how much revenues are coming from dpi version...
Q3 estimate in last post is fantascientific, IMO... taking out Afrezza and Vgo (that should be around 18/19 M$) more then 45 M$ coming from United? That would be a dream with sure a positive number in the "Earning for Share" number for Q3. ALSO United will quite double his total tyvaso sales just in a quarter? 600 M$? come on guys...

".... the royalties to MNKD were 6.0% of UT's Tyvaso revenue.". This contradicts the low double digit royalty that we've all been told. It gets confusing. The statement is "Tyvaso revenue" but the double-digit royalty is paid on "Tyvaso DPI revenue" which is a subset of "Tyvaso revenue" because there are other forms of Tyvaso than just the DPI version manufactured by MannKind.
Apparently, the double-digit royalty on Tyvaso DPI is currently estimated to be about 6% of Tyvaso revenue. It would be nice if UTHR provided the DPI revenue separately, but they don't.
I assume that ~6% number changes over time as Tyvaso DPI becomes the dominant source of Tyvaso revenue (which I think is the going assumption from UTHR, but it would be good to have that confirmed).

We can estimate how much of Tyvaso-total is Tyvaso-DPI: $19M in royalties for MNKD in Q2 implies at least $190M in TDPI revs for UTHR. $319M was Tyvaso-total revs in Q2. 190 / 319 = 60% I.e., TDPI revs for UTHR were 60% of Tyvaso-total revs in Q2.
UTHR has said recently that new Tyvaso-total revs are running about 70% TDPI.

Will be interesting to see the Tyvaso revenue numbers before the bell Wednesday morning.
UTHR 2Q 23 Tyvaso revenue was $319.0 million up from $238.4 the previous quarter
MNKD 2Q 23 Royalties - $19 million up from $11.678 million the previous quarter
Tyvaso revenue was up 33% quarter over quarter
Royalties to MNKD were up 62.6% quarter over quarter

It's an interesting time. Both UTHR and MNKD as much as said MannKind's manufacturing capacity was maxed out and that substantial improvements in capacity (esp. drying capacity) were needed and were coming online during the last quarter. There was indication there was a backlog in pharmacies meeting basic inventory requirements, and sales were improving.
If UTHR was able to maintain the pace of growth (approximately $80M QoQ), then Q3 will be $400M with Tyvaso DPI running 70% of revenue or $280M which means MNKD royalties of at least $28M up 47.4%.
I think that pace (adding $80M QoQ) is going to be difficult to achieve (again), so I don't know if $400M is realistic. Curious what others think.

Perhaps it's my ASD but I don't get the middle one. My guess: CB kicked the football which deflated and still did not get over the crossbar, so still no successful kick for him! IDK

I think that’s right. Must’ve been the one time Lucy didn’t pull the football from Charlie so he got to kick it. But in true CB fashion, that’s the result he got. I should remember better, I read all those comic strips back in the day…
