It looks like the .0001 crew has turned on their machines. Noticed that too. Not sure what is going on but someone decided to put a cap on upward movement beyond 3.80. I'm guessing it has something to do with options, but I haven't checked on the open contracts for this Friday, which might provide a clue. I'd like to see some limits put on HFT but I doubt it will happen in my lifetime. Is it just me, or does the frequency of these games seem to increase when the stock is under $5? Of course, on low volume, they can have their way. Many of the paper handed Reddit newbies and day traders moved on to greener pastures, it seems; as buyers with conviction seem to be on the sidelines. I picked some up, but don't want to commit to larger buys until I get a better sense of how long we are going to be trading sideways or dipping lower. I expect volatility to continue in the NASDAQ. Makes you wonder. Why reinvent the DPI "wheel", when there is proven technology already out there?

Short Interest was moved to a new(?) category on technicals and trading.

Did something happen to the short interest thread? Thanks. If I forgot to leave a forwarding post when I moved that thread, sorry about that. Yeah, trying to consolidate the trading topics together away from the fundies/operational topics, because IMO people are either focusing on one or the other, and to have them mixed up within the same thread or even the same forum can be disconcerting (at least it had been for me.) Then the "ladle" thread got moved back to the general forum because apparently it had been bad luck to move it LOL.

I confirmed that with my Magic 8 Ball!

I imagine I will forget and ask again in a few weeks so I will apologize for that now.

I would be interested if part of the cash haul was to elicit some type of a merger with RLS. I have a hard time getting that 7 billion dollar buyout of GW with only one FDA approved cannabis based product out of my head.

I hope you mean elicit, not illicit Thanks, Liane, I fixed it. I can't even blame that on spell check! ANDDD maybe it was a Freudien slip.

Reminder: Roche and Regeneron are collaborating on developing and manufacturing imdevimab (REGN-COV2). REGN-COV2 was given to President Trump when he had covid.
Roche and Regeneron are collaborating to develop, manufacture and distribute casirivimab and imdevimab, to people around the globe, with the aim of having more than two million doses available in 2021. Regeneron will be responsible for distributing the antibody cocktail in the US and Roche will be responsible for distribution outside the US, with the first Roche-manufactured doses already being distributed. Casirivimab and imdevimab could provide a much-needed treatment option for infected individuals already experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, and may be able to prevent infection in people exposed to the virus, and hopefully help slow the spread of the global pandemic.

Quadwitching tomorrow. Money flows being adjusted, houses booking profits to show clients gains in the next quarterly statement, money to flow back in next week.

Yeah, what’s up with the sudden surge in bond yields? Is congress’ work on increasing tax on corporate earnings and capital gains sucking the life out of the stock market? (shocking)
