From what I'm seeing on ST,Im beginning to believe this is WSBs.. there are 3000 new users over there all of a sudden and many new posts from people claiming to be WSBs.. Millennials for Mnkd.. 10 mil. Volume just came in.. All of the money lost on GME went somewhere.. and not all of the WSBs crew are kids but rather savy traders..

I've been observing #biowar at WSB: finance.yahoo.com/news/reddit-army-declares-biowar-shorted-182223419.html It could be that there is a collection of biotechs that got passed in front of WSB, and they decided to work on a collection of them rather than just one at a time. My sense is that with all the newbies and oddity going there, we have a few seasoned hands 'working our account' Though our shorts are smaller than before, we have a very dedicated group of longs that are more apt (by dedication or trap) to hold longer than the day traders. This offers them some good ammo besides the valuation, the progress and roadmap, etc. |

The WSB thing sounds reasonable but on top of that I threw on a little insider buying with a private BTIG conference and I get something going on with a little help from our friends.

I think the Janet Yellen super regulator conference will look at the root cause of the GameStop situation, and what created the opportunity in the first place. If Naked Shorting was a driver, then those that know it was naked are closing out naked positions all over the place, so if asked, they can truthfully say they have no naked positions in the market. The SEC isn't very effective, but if you lie to them on a direct question, you're probably entertaining heavy fines and jail time.

Janet took $800,000 in speaking fees from Citadel who owns and backs Robinhood. She also had on her financial disclosure to congress 4,200,000 in speaking fees from other Wall Street and financial firms. Can she be objective on the trading issues? Personally I think there should be a HFT tax on shares that are traded in/out in a daily or less than a long term gain period. Investors get screwed by the HFT folks. |

I don't always like or agree with Jim Cramer but he said this morning that to end naked shorting there should be a rule on 24 hour settlement of trades. I would agree with him on that statement. Does anybody remember the day in 2016 when 78,000,000 shares of Mannkind traded? I think at that time there were only 100,000,000 shares issued. the day from hell caused by the NAKED SHORTING OF Mannkind

My guess is..it was a bang for the buck stress test..next evaluation of impact to each stock..then...maybe a revisit of those stocks that went up and by how much how quickly..that had the most bang for the buck..we'll see what happens..either way..they can't hold. Good Mannkind down..💪
