This thing has been on just a total tear since January (just one little fake-out pullback in there). I don’t think many of us have ever seen anything like this (in MNKD). Some of us dream about getting rich from MNKD. To me, it’s more about finally allowing myself to believe all the investment of time and dealing with troublesome members here was actually serving a useful purpose. In the meantime, I settle for many friendships having been forged and at least, with each passing week, a continuing reduction of the size of my lifetime loss in this thing. Investor psychology is an animal all by itself. Unfortunately, as young people we discovered far too late what it means when, "Take your losses and move on" was the best advice given...(present company included and why I can say it). Now that I'm past 60, I don't bat an eye at setting tight stops, looking to lock in several big wins while giving away bags of smaller losses. I learned that I can have a 40/60 win/loss percentage so long as my wins keep me in the money and I can fold green in my pocket. This I'm teaching my youngest son who wants to learn how to trade/invest having just finished his five years of service in the USN and is back in college at ASU. Hope he can learn from his pops. Assuming he is 22, if he was able to save $200k while in the Navy and he puts it in Vanguard's Index 500 fund and just leaves it, he should have about $6M when he is 55.

That’s right. And/or just start a Roth IRA and invest conservatively (or aggressively for that matter). He will have no money worries when the time comes to retire.

hellodolly - So the Navy is a 5 year thing now? When I was in the Air Force it was only 4 years ... and I got a 3 month early out from the base commander who I had a family lunch with at his house. My son originally signed for air traffic controller, but decided to switch to Gunner's Mate (the oldest rate in the Navy) so he could play with the big guns. When he signed for the switch they told him, OK but we have to add one more year to your contract. He was 23 with two years of college (blew up his shoulder pitching in IOWA) and quit school after he was redshirted his sophmore year and it was either MLB or Military. It was a dream for him. Air Force? My son-in-law is a Lt. Colonel in the AF. Notre Dame grad, Mechanical Engineering, BA., dropping bombs out of a B52 in Afghanistan based out of Minot. He wouldn't discus classified missions but said he wore his air-pods for about 16 hours one way, worked for 20 minutes, and flew back with air pods another 16 hours. He's now back at Eglin with my daughter and grand kids.

Wow ... an officer in the AF. I was just a regular guy who worked for intelligence and was sent to Okinawa and Taiwan. And yes, all the girls loved me there and wanted me to marry them. That's when I decided that I better go home to Hawaii or be stuck in the military for life. Ha!
BTW, I ate and drank too much over seas ... and they labeled me as a "disabled veteran". I believe it was a 20% rating ... so I receive compensation for life. I guess they were correct in putting me into "intelligence".
But, that's mytakeonit

I don’t watch much television or follow any on-line news sources (or even Twitter/X, FB, etc.). Anybody have a sense how the market and MNKD will behave tomorrow?

Can't say...but I just finished my weekly 25 minute weekend review with Cavaccio Capital on YT (always good with a cup of coffee) and from their perspective the charts are not showing signs that the market is ready to roll over, growth is still in control and this bull market still has legs. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUlIYhZAVnA

"Biden is gone" relief rally? Even as a left-leaning Dem, it was pretty clear to me that he wasn't fit for another 4 years.
